Manufacture of a fork for automatic tool changing of CNC machines
Dvořák, David ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the manufacturing of tool change forks from the tool magazine of Mikron 1150U. By this method several pieces would be produced for Chotěbořské strojírny a.s. due to save money. At first fork would be introduced and economic point of view, then this thesis would be focus to production of a 3D model, compilation of a technological procedure and manufacturing trial piece. Manufactruing is made by 3-axis machining centre Mikron VCP800. In the end the trial part would be checked and evaluated.
Technology Design of a Selected Part and Application of the Designed Changes in the Manufacturing Process
Turčín, Jiří ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
This master thesis deals with a design of technological process description for a mechanical engineering part called „pressure plate“. The component is analyzed in regards to its mechanical engineering design and used material. Some brief theoretical prerequisites for an effective solution of the problem are summarized in the paper. A detailed research of current technological methods is provided, together with an analysis of the State-of-the-Art in manufacturing, introduction of technological possibilities of the company and a timeline records of the manufacturing process. In regards to the current methods and technologies, changes to the technological process are applied. Among these changes is a unification of machinery used in the process. This leads to an innovation of the methodology and the ways to clamp the component. Other applied alternations focus on a stabilization of the drilling process, which is reached by a choice of new tools and adjustment of cutting parameters. Furthermore, a variable coding of tools in case of automatic tool change is designed. This paper then provides two possible solutions based on proposed changes and alternations. These solutions, together with the tools mentioned, are subjects to a techno-economical assessment.
Moving bolster of body panel press
Novotný, Lukáš ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Omes, Jiří (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with design structures of moving bolster for body panel press and with design of railroad tracks, in which the bolster is moving in two mutually perpendicular directions. These moving bolsters are used for facilitating and speeding up the change of pressing dies, which is desirable in automated automotive industry for shortening and streamlining the pressing die change. The part of the work is research of the current state of knowledge in systems for quick die change, design of the moving bolster and its drive, design of railroad tracks, amount of design and control calculations, design of mechanism for lifting the bolster, optimization and strength calculations of bolster in ANSYS software. All the design structures of bolster, railroad tracks and basic workplace layout are processed in 3D software for modelling Autodesk Inventor. Attachments consist of drawing documentation of main assemblies, namely mounting drawing of moving bolster assembly, mounting drawing of railroad tracks assembly, drawing of workplace layout and furthermore drawing of driven shaft, weldment and workpiece of moving bolster and railroad tracks block.
Spindle and tool stand design integrated into a robotic machining cell
Totušek, Josef ; Klíč, Daniel (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the structural design of a stand for spindle and tool storage, integrated into a robotic machining cell. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters that focus on the topic of end-effector changing system and tool holders, along with the introduction of selected types. The practical part includes partial designs necessary for implementing automated operations in robotic machining. The crucial part involves the storage of the spindle in the stand, for which three conceptual designs are created, followed by an evaluation based on a multi-criteria analysis. Furthermore, the realization of the spindle connection with the exchangeable system and the complete integration of pneumatic and electrical circuits are carried out. An assembly drawing is included in the drawing documentation.
