Application of university graduates in the labor market

This bachelor thesis addresses the current problem of graduate employment in the labor market. The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to examine how graduates employment prospects are affected in the current labor market, and to propose recommendations that should improve the employability of recent graduates, and reduce unemployment levels among this demographic. This thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on available literature, and explains the basic concepts of the subject. The practical part analyzes the results of the questionnaire survey, which was conducted among graduates of various universities. In the conclusion of the bachelor thesis, the results of the questionnaire survey are evaluated, and recommendations are proposed which should contribute to the improved employment prospects for university graduates.
Employability of university graduates in the Czech Republic and the possibilities they have to improve their prospects on the labour market 2015–2016

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of employability of university graduates in the Czech Republic and the possibilities they have to improve their prospects on the labour market. The text analyses specific factors affecting the employability of graduates and it also provides an outlook on the situation from the employer's point of view. Research method used is the questionnaire survey that analyses the most important requirements of the companies. Second part of the research focuses on the university graduates, analyses their work experience and extracurricular activities and how beneficial that can be in finding a new job position. The aim of the thesis is to asses current situation of the university graduates in connection with the requirements of the employers. The diploma thesis confirmed that having a work experience during university significantly helps to find an employment in the future. The last part of the thesis also provides suggestions to improve the current situation of university graduates.

This thesis deals with the application of university graduates in the labor market. The main aim of this thesis is to find out how graduates apply for the job market, and propose any recommendations to enhance their employability. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on the knowledge from literature and defines the basic concepts and theoretical basis related to the labor market and graduates of university. The practical part contains an analysis of a questionnaire survey conducted among university graduates. The final part summarizes the results of the survey and includes recommendations, which should help to improve their employability in the labor market.
Analysis of application of university graduates in the labour market in the region Strakonice in 2015

This thesis is concerned with the labor market in the region Strakonice, specifically focuses on the application of university graduates on the labor market. For a thorough analyzing this market and to obtain relevant information work uses three methods. It is a meeting with the employee labor office in Strakonice, as well as interviews with staff personnel department of the largest employers in Strakonice and lastly to collect information using random survey among 150 employers in the region. Analysis is due to survey the small local labor market, relatively deep and authoritative. The work resulting knowledge that leads to the hypothesis that there applying for university-educated people is not very high, despite the fact that in some sectors the market application is not so bad. This work can assist graduate in deciding whether to enter the labor market just in Strakonice
Application of pedagogues of leisure time on the labor market in Czech Republic

This work deals with the application of leisure education graduates on the labor market in the Czech Republic. It introduces the concept of leisure, its origins and historical development of educational activities. It deals with the pedagogy of leisure as a science, pedagogy discipline and the field of study. It introduces the pedagogue of leisure, his vocational training, profile and application. Last but not least, closer to the ties of labor market, it covers the unemployment and status of university graduates on the labor market. The last chapter presents the results of the performed research. The research focused on finding employment of graduates of leisure education from Faculty of Theology of University of South Bohemia on the czech labor market in relation to this field, their preparation for practice and obtaining their opinions about that field of study.
Employability of university graduates in the labor market in the Czech Republic in 2000-2010

The tertiary education offer has undergone transformation in the years 2000 to 2010 which raises the questions about the employment of the university graduates. The main characteristics of this transformation are changes in the ratio of the newly accepted university students, the graduation rate at the universities and the educational structure of the population. This work focuses on the following indicators to determine the employability of people with higher education: the unemployment rate characteristic for the problem, compliance of the field of study, level of education and employment and finally wage trends among university graduates in comparison with the average wage. The result of the analysis is a very low unemployment, abov e average wages, above standard compliance of the education with the necessary qualifications to perform the job and average compliance of the study and professional field. That implies still straightforward employement on the labor market in comparison with other OECD countries. However, in the incoming years, due to impaired development of the tertiary education in the recent years, the employability of the university graduates can be problematic.
The internal migration of university graduates in the Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the internal migration of university graduates in the Czech Republic in terms of identifying major migration trends and inter-regional differences in this subject-matter area. The available statistical data for the period from 1991 to 2004 and the survey itself for predicting future trends represent the main sources of data in this thesis. The thesis uses the comparative method, simple analogy method and descriptive method. The theoretical part defines the basic terms and characteristics relating to migration and also describes the indicators used for the analysing the subject. The practical part focuses on analysing internal migration of university graduates at the regional level in the Czech Republic. The analysis is performed primarily on the basis of net migration, efficiency index of migration stream and preference index of migration stream. The conclusion identifies major migration trends, ensuing inter-regional differences, major causes of migration of university graduates and also outlines the future development in this area.
University graduates on the labour market of Central and Eastern European countries

The diploma thesis is focused on the situation of university graduates in Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. The main objective of the thesis is to analyse opinions, attitudes and expectations of today's university graduates in the CEE region, with focus on the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia, and then, based on this analysis, to define recommendations for companies. This analytical part is preceded by a general definition of relationship between university graduates and companies, concentrating particularly on their recruitment, as well as description of labour market and system of tertiary education in CEE countries. Furthermore, education policy of European Union and its influence on development of tertiary education systems in the region is also mentioned.
