Low-rise residental buildings

The bachelor´s thesis "Low-rise residential buildings" deals with the construction of a residential buildings in Brno, Sadová. The residential building is designed on a corner plot which original use was as a meadow and garden area. The building is located on flat terrain. The project builds on the study "Panorama Kociánka", the intended construction of residential buildings on the northeast side of the land. The building has one underground and three floors. Building structure is created of wall system placed on concrete grid foundations. The roof is flat. Part of the bachelor´s thesis is the physical model and detail of sliding folding shielding panels.
Multifunctional building

The subject of the Master's thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a multifunctional apartment building. The building is located in the cadastral area of Prosek, in Prague 9 in the north-eastern part of the city. The terrain of the land is flat. The multifunctional house has five floors and one underground floor. In the basement there is a garage, a technical area and a storage area. The first floor is redesigned to a café and office area. The floor is connected to a terrace, which is accessible from the interior and exterior. The second to fifth floors are filled with housing units. There is a walking terrace on the fifth floor. The roofing above the 4th and 5th floors consists of a flat roof. The construction system in 1st floor consists of a combination of reinforced concrete columns, girders and walls. On the 1st floor, there is a combination of a masonry and reinforced concrete transverse system with a reinforcing reinforced concrete wall. From the 2nd floor to the 5th floor is a transverse masonry system with a reinforcing reinforced concrete wall. The ceiling structures are formed by reinforced concrete monolithic slabs. The stair flights are prefabricated. The whole building is insulated with a contact thermal insulation system.
SMS Enterprise Premises

The Bachelor thesis focuses on small and medium-size enterprise (SMEs) premises situated near the Kšírova Street in Brno. The construction area is to be found in the city district Horní Heršpice. The nearest surroundings are characterised by a multifunctional neighbourhood. At the same time, the new planned city district is taken into consideration. The area intended for reconstruction has recently served as a builder´s yard. The designed construction is composed of two buildings and its location on the plot enables it to form a city block. Although both, the main and the adjacent building are designed as four-storey buildings, the main building is significantly larger. Main gallery, production areas with facilities, eating facilities, management and a car park are to be found in the main building. The access to individual production units is from outside back porches. The perforated metal sheet front wall facing the city district constitutes a chief element having aesthetic and psychological functions. There is an inner yard between the two buildings that is going to be used for supplying.
Semi-detached Multifunctional Building in Prostějov

This thesis is focused on the design and preparation of project documentation multifunctional building in Prostejov. Building has a basement, six floors and the last floor is the attic. The structural system is longitudinal wall and is made of Porotherm system. Floors are made of ceramic panels Heluz. Roof is designed as Gambrel roof. The building is connected to the next building.
Office building

This master thesis elaborates the project documentation for the construction of an office building in Krnov city, located in the Moravian-Silesian region. The office building has four utility above-ground floors and one underground floors serving as underground garages. There is a cafe, stationery, showrooms and office space with sanitary facilities. The construction system is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton. Vertical infill constructions are made of brick technology from Porotherm ceramic blocks. The ceiling structures are made of filigree panels with hidden steel girders, which are embedded with concrete layer. The basement and the basic structure of the house is designed as a white tub. The building is covered with vegetation roof. The design emphasized increased comfort in use and the overall modern concept of an office building. Overall, the building is designed to the required values for a near zero energy building.
Annen Gate

The bachelor's thesis is about the design study of a multifunctional town house. The goal is to complete the corner of Pekařská and Anenská streets in the center of Brno. Predominantly the apartment building is complemented by administrative and commercial function together with the design of underground garages. The set of buildings also creates a new public space.

The street facades are compact character, austere space is lined CETRIS plates, strip windows are placed in fixed horizontal and vertical lines.
Design of the uderground part of the building

The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the design and assessment of reinforced concrete monolithic supporting structure of underground garages under apartment building at ultimate limit state and also at serviceability limit state, according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1: Design of concrete structures. Specifically, the design of the ceiling slab, girders, the selected column, the selected part of the wall and foundation under columns. Other parts of the building are not solved in the project. The text part contains general information on the desing of the structure, static idealization of the structure, type of load and method for calculation of inner forces. Attachments contain structural analysis, which completes the text part and solves in detail selected elements of the structure and the drawing documentation.
Hotel

My thesis project addresses a newly built hotel in the city of Brno. This work aims to describe the project documentation for the building construction. It is a freestanding building on flat terrain. The building has four floors and a basement. Located in the basement is a parking garage, technical equipment, and an area for sports and recreation. On the first floor there is a reception area, a restaurant, a cafe, retail space, and an outdoor terrace. The second and third floors are designed to accommodate guests with single and double rooms. In addition to the guest rooms there are two apartments, two rooms with handicapped access, children's play areas, and open common areas. The fourth floor includes guest room accommodations (single and double rooms), two board room offices, and two individual offices. The hotel management office is also located there along with a snack bar and an additional meeting room. The outer structure of the hotel consists of reinforced concrete skeleton, with bricked envelope of liaporbetonovým blocks. The skeleton is based on the footings. The building is covered with two mA single pass roofs, one of which is designed as vegetation. The building is insulated.
