The Gate of Electronic Information Sources of Art On-line at The Janacek Academy of Music and Performings Arts in Brno and Its Services

The theme of this doctoral thesis is the gate for free access to the electronic information resources Art On-line at the Library of The Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts /JAMU/ in Brno (see http://knihovna.jamu.cz/index.html or http://dokumenty.jamu.cz/knihovna/eiz). The purposes are analysis and evaluation of the current state of the gate, survey of using information and information services, suggestion of its expansion, suggestion of its organizational and technological innovation and suggestion for completion of electronic information resources. The doctoral thesis consists of seven chapters. The opening part introduces JAMU and the Library of JAMU, the fundamental part presents the gate Art On-line. Chapter 1 The Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno introduces milieu of the art academy. From chapter 2 The Library of JAMU - history, development, services and its critical analysis to chapter 4 Electronic information resources at the Library of JAMU the text deals with problems of the library. Jewish Artists in the Weimar Republic. Painters at the Schools of Art in Berlin.

The thesis deals with the forms of Jewish identity using the example of six visual artists at the Art Schools in Berlin during the Weimar Republic. The first chapter briefly describes the development of German Jewish history from the half of the 18th century until the Weimar Republic. The following two chapters focuse on the family background of the artists and on the position of female artists. The next chapter deals with the Art Schools, with their founding, organisation and their possible influence on the artists. The final part focuses on the reflection of Jewishness in the artists' artwork as well as on the particular works of art which are analysed and compared. The aim of this part is to describe the attitudes of the artists to the Jewishness in a broader social context. The primary sources consist of artists works of art, their literary works, memoirs and correspondence. Key words: Jews, Jewishness, the Weimar Republic, Art, Art Schools

Psychological attitude of teacher to students of primary art schools in teaching violin.

This diploma thesis is focused on the work of violin teachers at primary music schools from the perspective of a psychological influence on students. Possibilities available to teacher for psychological support of education and student´s development are examined.
Musical abilities and musical talent are studied with focus on possibilities of musical development of students.Then, teacher´s attitude to students and it´sdiffernt variants are described. It is emphasized the importance of concentration and attention, knowledge of motivation in each period of student´s studies, and good preparation for concert performances. Teacher should know about all possibilities of psychological field which can help him to teach students as well as to communicate with their parents.
Chapters on psychological process of teaching, its different types and possibilities of usinh it for violin teaching are listed at the end of this thesis.

Economical and cultural evaluation of the activities of Basic Art Schools

The topic of this thesis is an analysation of the social contribution of Basic Art Schools in Czech republic, the description of their activities both economical and cultural and the description of the curren state of their network. The evaluation a conlusions are made in the context of history and law. The thesis contains aplication of gained facts on concrete institution. The main goal is to create a coherent introduction to the system of basic art eduacation in Czech republic.
