Design of a one-span prestressed bridge over a local brook
Tomášková, Eliška ; Panáček, Josef (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is a design and evaluation of a one-span prestressed concrete road bridge. Out of two options, a slab bridge is selected for further assessment. This thesis aims to design and evaluate the construction on the basis of ULS and SLS criteria.
Rigid frame road bridge
Pohlídal, Jan ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The theme of this bachelor thesis is to design a road bridge across a river. The bridge is designed as a single-span frame structure. The soffit is unique by its parabolic course. The load effects were calculated using software Scia Engineer. Calculations by hand were carried out using MS Excel. Drawing documentation and visualization of the structure are also included.
Continuous box girder bridge
Hajnoš, Mário ; Páleník, Petr (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is detailed design of supporting structure of continous box girder bridge across a deep valley called Lazný creek. The bridge have to pass the second class road with category S 9,5. The design is processed by two options. The chosen option is designed as a girder with five spans 44,8 m + 55 m + 55 m + 55 m +44,8 m. Total length of bridge is 268,57 m, the main girder is gradually cast into the formwork suspended on a special ceiling scaffolding. The axis of the bridge is in a plan straight with the constant transversal slope 2,5 %. The thesis contains six models in software SCIA ENGINEER. Part of the work is situated on time depended analysis with construction phases. Assesment of ultimate limit states and serviceability limit states were done by hand according to the valid standards and regulations. Structural analysis, drawing documentation and vizualization are parts of this work.
Prestressed frame concrete structure
Duranová, Anna ; Nečas, Radim (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor Thesis deals with designing a single-span frame structure over the riverbed, specifically a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. Three studies of the single-span bridge, including their evaluation, were carried out. Subsequently, the variant of the single-span frame bridge with a parabolic deck was selected and drawn up. Dimensioning of the prestressed concrete deck and the reinforced concrete props was performed according to the limit states. The load effects were processed in the Scia Engineer software, and the calculations were made in MS Excel. The calculation procedure adhered to valid standards and regulations.
Design of a road bridge
Vašina, Michal ; Řehulka, Martin (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The thesis deals with structural design of road bridge across the Opava river and its floodplain area. Three variants were elaborated and compared. Variant of 8-span girder bridge about three hundred metres long was chosen for detailed processing. Structural model was created by computational software Midas Civil and SCIA Engineer, first model is 3D beam grid model and includes time dependent analysis of construction phases. The second model is 2D model formed of plate elements. Structural design report and drawings are included. Assessment was provided accoding to valid European standards.
Railway arch concrete bridge
Škrabal, Jan ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the structural design of a railway bridge over river Dyje based on materials given by my supervisor. The tied arch bridge with prestressed concrete girder is chosen for the structural check. The structural assesment is focused on prestressed concrete girder and basic calculations are made to check steel arch and hangers as well. Eigenvalue analysis provides dynamic properties of this structure. Appendices contain Structural design report, drawings including Construction stages scheme and visualization. For structural analysis Midas Civil software was used. Other used softwares for visualization, and outputs etc are: Lumion12, IdeaStatica, Microsoft excel and Autocad
Rain detention project
Samek, Michal ; Požár, Michal (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis deals with design and assessment of reinforced concrete rain detention tank, which is made of two parts, rain detention tank and filling water station. Design is done using assigned geometry. Assessment includes ultimate limit states and serviceability limit states. The thesis contains also drawing documentation, which includes shape drawing and reinforcement drawings.
Stress ribbon bridge supported on arch
Duranová, Anna ; Kaláb,, Pavel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The Master’s Thesis deals with designing a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists over the riverbed. Two studies of the construction, including their evaluation, were carried out. Subsequently, the variant of the stress ribbon bridge supported on arch was selected and drawn up. The design of the self-anchored structure was carried out and the computational model was created in the Ansys software. Dimensioning of the prefabricated segment, the monolithic arch and the struts were performer according to the limit states. The calculations were made in MS Excel. The calculation procedure adhered to valid standard and regulations.
Integral frame bridge
Dobeš, Marek ; Šopík,, Leonard (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design and assessment of a single span inclined integrated frame bridge structure over rail tracks. Three preliminary studies have been designed and then a best variant was selected for more detailed analysis. A reinforced concrete slab with steel girders with a span of 28.39 meters was developed. The model was developed using the MIDAS/Civil program and the limit state assessment was carried out using the MS Excel program. The procedure and dimensioning of the calculation is carried out according to valid standards and regulations.
Bridge across expressway D35
Pohlídal, Jan ; Novák, Richard (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The theme of this master thesis is to design a road bridge across expressway D35. The bridge is designed as a triple-span strut frame construction. The construction is unique because of its variable cross-section of the bridge, which is supported by a inclined supports. The load effects were calculated using software Scia Engineer as the time analysis of the structure was solved using the TDA module. Calculations by hand were carried out using MS Excel. Drawing documentation and visualization of the structure are also included.
