This work deals with the analysis of the financial statements of existing companies with the help of statistical methods and time series. The work is aimed at a large mining company Severočeské doly a.s. At this work will be given the statistical and graphic representation of the various economic indicators and financial statements. Each time series will be compared with professional values and competing firms. In conclusion, based on the results of the company will be proposed some options for improving some indicators.

The bachelor´s thesis is focused on the assessment of selected economic indicators of the company Vinařství U Kapličky s.r.o. using time series. The theoretical part includes the issue of time-series, regression function and description of selected economic indicators. In the practical part of the thesis is directed to the real use of the information obtained from the theoretical part, using time series are the results of the regression function indicators aligned and subsequently predicted their development in the future. The final part is devoted to the evaluation of the results and based on them are provided with appropriate proposals improve the current economic and financial situation of the company.

The Financial Analyses of the Firm

The bachelor’s thesis deals with financial statement analysis of the energy producing and distributing company E.ON, s.r.o. in the time period from 2008 till 2011. The thesis is divided into two parts. The methods and tools for the financial analysis are introduced in the theoretical part. The second part of the thesis focuses on the company itself in details as well as it contains the elaboration of the company financial analysis. As a conclusion to this study the company financial assessment is carried out. Based on the assessment results the proposals for innovations are suggested.
