Manufacturing of a Coupling Body
Dostál, Martin ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production of the clutch body. The production company is Zetor Kovárna s.r.o. It is a slightly more complex component used in the automotive industry. The production run is 80,000 pieces per year. The material for production is lowcarbon steel 12 020. Of all the evaluated production technologies, production by hot die forging is chosen. A suitable shape of the forging is also designed for it. The input blank is a rod with a diameter of 100 mm and a height of 201 mm. The proposal also deals with the cutting and preheating of the input blank. Die forging is designed in three steps. The selected forging force for the last operation is 30.7 MN. The proposed production press is the LZK 4,000. The LKOA 200 press is selected for finishing cutting operations.
Analysis of mold cooling on tool life of forming tools
Bambušek, Martin ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to analyze the possibilities of increasing the durability of forming tools. These options include choice of new materials, coating, heat treatment, chemical-thermal treatment and tool cooling. The experimental part analyzes the effect of cooling the forming tool with compressed air. This is further compared to another method of cooling, namely conformal liquid cooling, and also with an uncooled tool.
Design of crane hook production
Horák, Tomáš ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production of a crane hook made of C45 steel. After evaluating suitable technologies, die forging on a mechanical press was chosen. Based on the analysis of technological technology, the shape of the part was modified and all necessary additions and limit deviations of forging dimensions were determined. The semi-finished product with a diameter of 65 mm and a length of 380 mm will be formed on a cross wedge rolling mill, bent on a separate press and subsequently forged. The crank forging press LZK 3150 B from the company ŠMERAL Brno a. S., With a nominal forming force of 31.5 MN, was chosen from the calculated forming force. The construction of the dies is based on the ČSN 22 8306 standard and they are made of 19,552 steel with subsequent heat treatment.
Analysis of tool steel cracking and a study of its elimination
Tomešek, Viktor ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the causes and mechanisms of degradation processes that affect the surface of tools made of tool steel and to design and verify a practical solution that would lead to higher resistance of tools to these processes. Chapters in the theoretical part deal with fracture behavior of the material and the possibilities of its elimination, the experimental part includes testing of the effect of coating on the durability of hot forming tools.
Production of sleeper screw
Bartošek, Filip ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor thesis developed in the bachelor degrees addresses technological process of the production sleeper screw. The production uses technology volume thermoforming. The project was elaborated in cooperation with the company ŠROUBÁRNA KYJOV s.r.o. The screw will be made from material ČSN 11 503. This material is unalloyed construction steel with property of weld. Based on the literature study technology volume thermoforming was chosen tamping in closed instrument for the production of head screw. For the production of screw-thread was chosen technology of rolling. For the production head of screw was chosen horizontal fitting press machine. After the production there were used surfacing by galvanic zinc coating because of the better corrosion resistance.
Automation in production systems
Němeček, Lukáš ; Šlais, Miroslav (referee) ; Rumíšek, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is dealing with the use of automatization in manufacturing systems, economical and production aspects.
Design of wheel hub production
Šidlák, Filip ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design the technology production of wheel hub for the automotive industry made of C45 steel. After the evaluation of suitable technologies, a die forging on a mechanical press was selected. On the basis of technology analysis, the component shape was modified, all allowances and dimensional tolerances were set. According to calculated forming force, the crank press LZK 3150B with nominal force 31, 5 MN from the manufacturer Šmeral Brno, a. s., was chosen. Manufacturing is divided into two operations, pre-forging and after that final forging. Design of dies is based on the ČSN 22 8306 standard and they are made of tool steel of grade 19 552 with the subsequent heat treatment. The dies have upper and lower ejector for easier removal of the forged piece.
Application of modern technologies to increase the life of forming tools
Bambušek, Martin ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to design and analyze possible ways of cooling hot forming tools and holders with use of modern and conventional technologies. From this analysis a least technologically and economically difficult solution with high efficiency of cooling effect is chosen and used on specific application. There are also described heat effects on degradation in the beginning of this thesis. Cutting edge of the tool made by the chosen technological solution is also analyzed during the experiment. In the conclusion of this thesis is an evaluation of achieved results.
Forming lines molding hot weighing up to 100 kg
Smyček, Ondřej ; Humlíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Omes, Jiří (advisor)
This project was made within the engineering studies and its aim was to design an assembly line to product assigned components of appropriate quality and quantity, using the technology of hot extrusion, both backward and forward. A series of technology steps was suggested, parameters necessary for individual operations were set and on this basis, adequate machines were chosen. The conclusion of this work contains technical-economical evaluation for the chosen options which expects the ten-year return with average production of 40 000 pieces.
