Learning Software for Visual and Text-Based Programming in Lua/LÖVE

This thesis pertains visual programming in Lua language with LÖVE framework. Within this thesis was created web application for teaching programming in Lua/LÖVE. Application supports both block and text based programming. Created games can be easily launched on Android platfrom using the Android app that was created in this thesis. The web app also includes tutorials that are well suited for education in schools.

Distance learning in German language lessons

This diploma thesis responds to the newly emerging need for distance learning during the coronavirus crisis. The theoretical part presents the specifics of distance learning of foreign languages, while searches of professional texts and final reports of CSI for distance learning of German and an overview of computer applications that foreign language teachers have available to prepare their own teaching. The main emphasis is on the empirical part of the work. It analyzes the Team Deutsch textbook in great detail, including all materials available online, especially in terms of the possibilities of their use in distance learning. Selectively, on the basis of own methodology, suitable texts and suitable exercises are selected, on this basis a specific procedure for working with them in teaching is proposed. These materials are tested, monitored and evaluated on the basis of evaluation forms. Based on the acquired knowledge and using specific software and selected computer applications, own texts and exercises suitable for distance learning of German are designed and their use is verified in our own pedagogical practice.

History of the School in Velké Karlovice - Miloňov

The thesis recounts the history of the village school of Velké Karlovice - Miloňov. The thesis is historical/empirical. The empirical part aims to use qualitative research to discover how the people of the region, the pupils of the school, perceived education in this hard, mountainous part of Wallachia. Their responses are compared to records of the Miloňov school chronicles. The historical part aims to present the results of a literary summary of the history of education in the Wallachia region and a comprehensive study of the history of the Miloňov Valley school. The thesis also covers the replica of the building of the Miloňov school built in the Wallachian Open Air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. Included in the thesis is also an interview of the curator and expert guarantor responsible for the the construction of the museum replica. The replica building of the school in the Wallachian Open Air Museum offers a wide variety of educational programmes for schools. The appendix of the thesis includes a worksheet for first-graders that can be used as a part of the "Welcome to school" event in the Museum. Digitized experiments - The instrument for mastering of selected curriculum of general chemistry

By analyzing electronical tools, online applications and tutorials from Czech Republic and abroad I have come to the conclusion that it is necessary to create a flexible educational instrument which includes digitized chemical experiments for general chemistry. Following the analysis of present databases, CD ROMs and VHS containing pictured experiments I found out that a lot of spectacular experiments with pyrotechnical components have not been shooted at all or not in the range of "greater" chemicals quantity. The chosen programming language, in which FMDP was written, proved to be most efficient. This choice emerged from a discussion with programmers and was motivated in particular by larger possibilities of C# than HTML have. In addition to it the modification of the FMDP content is easy. The teachers with minimum of the PC-literacy can make any changes in FMDP, alternate any of its parts and adapt them for various internal and external conditions of education. With regard to the interview having found the needs of learners I filmed and digitized especially such experiments that present the chemical reactions accompanied by the rise of a smoke, light emission, explosion and a surprising turn of colours.
