Ideology of Liberalism, or Ideology after its own End
Korda, Tomáš ; Suša, Oleg (advisor) ; Hauser, Michael (referee)
The essay begins with Benjamin`s comprehension of truth and his method of constellation which aims to the truth. I connect the method to the act of naming, which I derive from comprehension of subject in German idealism. Method is necessary condition for very constellation of liberal ideology. Contemporary liberalism thus does not only symbolize time after "the end ideology", but even space of time, when the ideology acquire its own most effective form. "The truth became most effective form of lie." In this sense I continue in critique of postmodernism as the ideology of late capitalism. In fine I outline the way to postmodernism by force of "risk thinking" which remains faithful to dialectic. Solely immanent critique which is far from normative critique of postmodernism sets in motion rigid conditions caused by omnipresent ideology.

Environmental education and the definition of the basic human values follows after physical, psychical and social characteristics of the pre-school age. The methodology of pre-school education, which outlines the basic human values to children through environmental education, is based on the explanation of the key terms. The aim of this work was to verify the possibility that, even though the education plan is based on the focus on the basic human values in environmental education, it still follows the demand for the general development of pre-school children. The work was also focussed on a question whether a new dimension in this field of values can be found in the pre-school age.

Social Aspects in the Work of Petr Chelčický and His Legacy for the Present
CINÁDROVÁ, Markéta
Petr Chelčický is one of the reformers from the first half of the 15th century. Little is known about him as a person. Of his 50 extant works, the most famous of which are O boji duchovním (About a Spiritual Fight), Replika proti Rokycanovi (A Repartee to Rokycana), Postila (Sermones) and Síť víry (A Net of Faith). The main topics of his treatises are a critique of the Catholic Church, an appeal against violence as a mode of action, and embracing non-violence. He often deals with dogmatic issues, i. e. Eucharist, purgatory, sacraments, the presence of an Anti-Christ, etc. Chelčický places an emphasis on the equality of all people, and therefore rejects the medieval model of society based on three classes of people. He felt that a society must be founded on love of one's neighbors and obedience to God through the examples set down by the apostles and the apostolic Church. Denying violence, he sets himself apart the Hussites. Chelčický's ideas of non-violence, human equality, truth, conscience, and suffering are still relevant in today's modern society.
Information as a Tool of Political Interest in the Czech Repubulic
Hojdánek, Tomáš ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Sigmund, Tomáš (referee)
The present work concentrates on a segment of information whose socio-political importance is steadily increasing. Theoretical framework of the study is centred on conceptualization of the term 'information' and social significance of information in the contemporary world. The main part of this study focuses on first-time voters in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic that will take place in 2014. The necessary data about this specific group of future voters were acquired through printed, quantitative questioning based questionnaires. The questionnaires were distributed to the first-time voters by their teachers during regular lessons in various types of secondary schools. Subsequently, the collected data served as a basis for confirmation of the pre-stated hypotheses and for conceptualization of the 'model' average first-time voter in the 2014 elections to the Lower House of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. As was revealed by the research, the attitude of the future first-time voters towards politics and political affairs is to a large degree lukewarm. In forming their own political views and opinions they prefer information acquired through internet and television over alternative sources such as school or family. These and many other findings are the result of this study. They can and should serve to public institutions, political representatives, general public and first-time voters themselves as a basis for introducing such measures that would increase participation of younger age-groups in the political discourse. In this respect some elementary suggestions are offered in the end of this paper.
Catechetical methodology of St. Augustin
ČANDOVÁ, Zdeňka
The thesis tries to answer how the Augustine's manner of searching the truth affected his pastoral ministry and catechesis as well as what methods can modern catechetists find in the Augustine's cathechetical writtings. It is based especially on the dates of Augustine's life and it analyses some of his works. In his catechetical treatises Augustine pointed out the different level of education of hearers and he recomended his readers to bring themselves down to the level of the lowest of their hearers, even as Christ humbled himself. On his opinion it does not matter if there are different opinions about an issue. What is important is to have everybody the same purpose which is the sincere effort to know the God's truth. The main objective of catechesis is leading to faith, hope and love. Augustine pointed out the unity and purity of the Church as the key point for the human salvation.

"Don t be Afraid!" - in the Work of John Paul II.
VALASOVÁ, Eva
My work deals with John Paul´s II.message of today´s world. He appealed to the words of our Messiah Jesus Christ Don´t be afraid.`` It brings the message and the Holy Fater wrote about it up to present days. These messages are still the actual appeal for our faith. During the centuries the question of human fear, anxiety and pain is still current. It refers to a source of human fear, which it comes from, how the Holy Father comprehended. It also refers to a question of human fear from the historical, biblical and psychological aspect. My work is identified with hope which the Holy Fater wrote about. This hope means to accept enjoyable message of the Gospel and to live completely loyally with Jesus Christ. The objektive of my work is to realize, what was John Paul´s appeal: Remember that you are loved by God.`` You are loved and redeemed by Jesus Chris´t s blood to a true freedom. Sincle only the true love overcomes the fear.
