Static design of the crane runway - comparative calculation

The purpose of bachelor thesis is recalculation the crane runaway according to current Eurocodes (CSN EN 1991-3 a CSN EN 1993-6) comparing results with the recalculation according to previous standards (CSN 27 0103 and CSN27 0101). In the hall there is one trolley crane. Its capacities is 12,5 tons. The structure is designed for the area of city Koprivnice. The main beam 12,0 m in length is welded biaxial symmetric I profile. Heigth of the beam is 800 mm, width is 300 mm, thickness of the flange 30 mm and web thickness is 30 mm. Horizontal bracing beam is truss girder - one belt is the upper belt of the main crane beam and second one is made from the half of HEB 140 profile. On the horizontal truss girder there is revision footbridge. Diagonals 1803 mm in length are designed from L70x70x7 profile. Vertical beam length is 1000 mm and is made from L50x50x5 profile. Length of truss is 1500 mm. Free belt of horizontal truss is supported by angled bars , which are connected to upper belt of the main crane beam, creating a fulltruss system in oblique level.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is design and assessment of the double aisle steel hall structure for industrial production in Moravské Budějovice. The hall has rectangular ground plan and it is 30m (18 m and 12 m) wide and 56 m long. There is trolley crane inside in the buinding with a lifting capacity of 12,5 tones. The main bearing components are trusses, solid poles, bracings and thin-walled purlins.

The bachelor thesis is about designing the single-aisle industrial hall bearing structure. The width of the hall is 18 meters, the length is 63 meters and height of the holder of a crane track girder is 12,3 meters. There are two trolley cranes in the building. Their carry capacities are 20/5 t and 32/8 tons. The main bearing components are the transversal restrained columns and strut-frame stringers. The purlins are strut-frame. The structure is designed for the district of Blansko.
Steel- load-carrying structure of production hall

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to make a structural design of steel-load-carrying structure of two-bay production hall with rectangular plan with total width 36m, i.e. with the same width both of the bay 2x18m, and total length ca. 72m. Eaves level of the building is 7,5m. There is one trolley crane with load capacity 5t and span 17,1m in the hall. The building will be roofed by saddle roof with slope 5% (2.86°) and ridge in the middle of the width. Modular distance of main frames is 6m. The production hall is situated on the outskirts of industrial part of town Červený Kostelec. RFEM was used for calculation internal forces on individual structural elements. Designing of elements and joints was made according to valid eurocodes.

This diploma thesis handles with a draft and conception of the warehouse hall and crane track where the main goal is the creation of outside and inside storage space which is covered by the trolley crane. Next point is about construction and stress calculation of the crane track and logistic ordering of the outside space with option of loading on wheel and rail transport.
