Implementation of Cogeneration Unit in "Smart Heating and Cooling Networks"
Uhrík, Patrik ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the Master‘s thesis was to create a computational model for integration of the cogeneration unit into the smart thermal network. For the better use of waste heat from the selected cogeneration unit MOTORGAS MGM250 during the summer period, the absorption circuit was dimensioned and the appropriate trigeneration computational model was formed. In the theoretical part, the function, operation and heat performance of the cogeneration unit as well as the suitability of the connection of the cogeneration unit with the absorption chiller during the summer period were described. In the practical part, the operational data of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology and the theoretical performance data from created cogeneration and trigeneration computational models were compared. Based on this comparison, the conclusion about the suitability of use of both computational models was made.
Biogas as a fuel for cogeneration unit
Domanský, David ; Pěček, Jan (referee) ; Beňo, Zdeněk (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is a description of biogas as a fuel for cogeneration unit. The exordium is focused on biogas origin, use and storage. The document body deals with principle of cogeneration technology and derived trigeneration technology. In the next part are described the compounds in biogas, which adversely affect the running of cogeneration units. There is also included concrete example of using the cogeneration unit with biogas.
Increasing the energy efficiency of industrial heating plant
Spišák, Lukáš ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The introductory chapters are devoted to the basic description of cogeneration and trigeneration technologies, focusing on the description of cogeneration units and cooling devices. The second part of the thesis compares two specific ways of using cogeneration units and gas boilers in the CHEMOSVIT ENERGOCHEM a.s. in the town Svit. Subsequently, both variants are evaluated energetically and economically.
Energy use of biomass
Nosek, Miroslav ; Škvařil, Jan (referee) ; Moskalík, Jiří (advisor)
The point of this bachelor thesis is to make out a retrieval for energy use of biomass. In the first part, there is a description of basic energy features of biofuels, which influence their use as an energy source. There is also listed a description of some technologies for production of energy from biomass. The second part of the thesis is dealt with using biomass in cogeneration. Even that there is a description of some cogeneration systems presently use in any energy applications. In the trird part, there is made out a comparation of expensiveness of using conventional unit with natural gas combustion and using a units with biofuel combustion.
Utilizing of liquide biofuels for energy supply in the complex Technicka 2
Kopecký, Jakub ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
Theme of this thesis is utilizing of liquide biofuels for energy supply in the complex Technicka 2. This work is divided into three parts. The first part dealt with the issue of liquid biofuels, both globally and within the Czech Republic. In the next part are noted technologies for heating, power and cooling of of liquid biofuels. In the third part is noted evaluation of using cogeneration unit from Seva, a.g. for komplex Technicka 2 in different types of traffic.
Absorption chiller
Najbrtová, Zuzana ; Bouchal, Patrik (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The master thesis on the Absorption chiller is devoted to the dimensioning of the operating points of the absorption chiller cycle. The thesis is based on the required realistic parameter such as cooling capacity, temperature of the chilled fluid and temperature of the driving hot water. The proposed duty cycle is single stage with two heat recovery exchangers, one between weak and rich solution, and the other between liquid and gas refrigerant. The working fluids of this cycle is ammonia and water. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part summarizes the basic knowledge of absorption cooling, including an explanation of the principle of trigenera-tion in which the proposed unit is to operate. The practical part deals with the actual design and calculation of the operating points, parameters of the secondary working fluids and the performance of the devices themselves. The calculation is compared with the real absorption units and the compressor unit.
Cold production and trigeneration
Jordanov, Alexandr ; Toman, Filip (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is recherché dealing with cool production. The aim of this thesis is present the main cooling system, their comparison, practical realisations, describe laws, which should cooling systems accomplish and assess influence on the environment. The first two chapters are about cogeneration and trigeneration. The main part of the thesis is focused on different methods of cooling, their advantages, disadvantages and their influence on the environment. Because of refrigerants in cooling systems, which have negative impact on health and environment, is part of the thesis dealing with law. At the conclusion of the bachelor thesis is the assessment of cooling systems and their forward-looking perspective present.
