Prediction Markets -Trade Based Mediation Tomáš Randus Abstract Prediction markets are a collective intelligence, crowdsourcing and gamification based information systems. They organize and validate a wide information imputes into a form suitable for medial purposes. There are a significant number of currently running systems provided by universities, companies and other oganisations. Prediction markets are in detail huge gaming systems with simulated stock market implementations. There are some controversies connected with political and strategic usage of those systems. The rest of usages like show business, sport, medical etc. are legitimate.
Choosing the Appropriate Trading Strategy on Forex

This thesis deals with trading on the stock market using technical analysis. It’s focus is on choosing the appropriate trading strategy which make use of the knowledge of technical indicators. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part describes the theoretical basis of the work - a description of the financial market, the various indicators and monitoring methods of money management. The theoretical knowledge describes the stock market, which is being traded on, various methods of analysis and how they differ and different methods of trading. In the second part of this thesis it will apply these theoretical solutions into practice and it will analyze the market in a given period of time. In the last part I will propose and describe my own solution – a business strategy based on the obtained theoretical knowledge.

Different possibilities in purchasing of groceries – comparison of Czech and Austrian retail network

This bachelor thesis aims to compare different possibilities in purchasing groceries in the Czech Republic and Austria which is being compared in three areas being it large grocery stores, marketplaces and online grocers. In the first chapter the purchasing of groceries is set into the theory of trade and includes a clarification of the terms used in the thesis. Next chapter is divided into three parts according to the three different possibilities of purchasing groceries. First, the large grocery stores are being characterized by looking into the Czech and Austrian markets and its specifics. The next part deals with purchasing groceries on the marketplaces and describes in detail three Czech and three Austrian marketplaces. Last part of the second chapter is dedicated to the online grocers where three Czech and three Austrian e-shops are being described more in detail. The closing chapter analyses results from a questionnaire survey, contributing to the comparison of the different possibilities in purchasing groceries in the two countries.
Farmer's marketplaces as a restoration of tradition

The theoretical part of this thesis defines the terms distribution and marketplaces. It is also concerned with the agricultural production of the Czech Republic and the quality of products on the Czech market. In the closing part there is a detailed description of farmer's marketplaces in the Czech Republic from 2009 until now and also the problematic aspects related to this kind of sale and its grant support. The practical part is based on intended aims, hypothesis and used methodology, and describes the course of farmer's marketplaces in two surveyed locations (South Bohemia and Prague) on various levels. It deals with an inspection of these farmer's marketplaces by the surveillance authorities of the Czech Republic, a complete analysis of these marketplaces, and a comparison of chosen marketplaces which were visited by the author of this work. Next is an evaluation of a questionnaire survey upon which the consumers' stance to this type of sale is being based. This includes people who do shop at these marketplaces as well as people who do not. In the end of the practical part all gained data are gathered, possible improvements are suggested, and the possible future development of this type of sale is proposed.
