Analysis of critical places in road transport

The diploma thesis deals with the modification of five selected road traffic crossing points. The main roads at these road traffic crossing points are two-lane directionally undivided. The addressed road traffic crossing points are the location of frequent traffic accidents and non-compliance with the maximum permissible vehicle speed. The subject of the diploma thesis is a description of changes in traffic signs at selected type of intersections. Subsequently, the selection of five actual intersections, a traffic survey of these locations and the design of drawings consisting in the modification of vertical traffic signs and horizontal traffic signs that will serve to stabilize traffic and minimize the occurrence of traffic accidents.

Selected Methods of Improvement for the Driver's Orientation on the Roads

The aim of this thesis is to find suitable measures which will lead to the improvement of driver orientation in traffic spaceleading to lower the accident rate in the area. The theoretical part describes the traffic surveys that relate to the topic. Furthermore, the work mentioned detectors used for the implementation of automated traffic surveys. The theoretical part also describes methods that can be used to analyze the selected location and then design the ideal modification. At the end gives an overview of the various measures. In the practical part are different methodologies used for the analysis of selected intersections. Firstly, the analysis of observed conflict situations, including making conflicting diagram, under which was designed to measure. Then, the analysis of traffic accidents. Again, the result was a proposal for possible actions. The main objective was to compare and appreciation of both methodologies and proces design measures to improve driver orientation in the selected location.

The issue of parking in Nove Zamky

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of static transport in the town of Nové Zámky. The subject of this work is the analysis of static transport in the city. The city was divided into individual logical zones. Shortcomings were identified in the analytical part of the existing situation, an evaluation was made, a SWOT analysis was made, comparisons with other cities were made, and based on these aspects, adequate solutions were proposed in the design part. The proposed solutions are designed to contribute to an overall better situation in the city, not just in the field of static transport.

This diploma thesis focuses on traffic research and observing data about traffic situation on the I/43 Lipuvka Road and the I/43 x II/379 (Blansko) and I/43 x II/379 (Drasov) crossroads. This thesis aims to analyse current situation, find out about time delays, secondary advantages and downsides. It also aims to expertly assess cost estimate and propose a possible solution.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of static transport in the town of Nové Zámky. The subject of this work is the analysis of static transport in the city. The city was divided into individual logical zones. Deficiencies were found in the analytical part of the existing state, which were subsequently addressed in the design part. The proposed solutions for parking areas are partly designed to soak up water in the city and thus contribute to a better climate in the city.

Alternative solutions of the Business premises - Dobronická

The subject of the Master thesis is alternative solutions of the parking lot including review of parking bays and adjacent paved areas for the needs of the shopping area (wholesale of food, eight stores of different charakter, fast food restaurant, fuel station and 3 automatic car wash systems) and design two variants of intersections (direct intersection and roundabout) with new urban road where is the shopping area connected. A traffic survey and capacity assessment of existing and newly proposed variants were carried out for the design of the intersection.

Crossroad I/38 a III/4117 near Blížkovice - Study

Subject of the bachelor thesis is a study of adjusting T-intersection crossway of roads I/38 and III/4117 near Blizkovice. The current state of the intersection seems unsatisfactory and dangerous when turning left and when exiting from a side road. The aim of this work is to design a modification solution with a requirement for a smooth and safe passage through the intersection in all directions and to ensure that the relocation of the high-pressure gas pipeline does not occur. Three variants of a possible solution were proposed and one of them was chosen that meets all the criteria.

Road I/42 VMO Žabovřeská I.

Master’s thesis focuses on verification of software functions of modelling software Aimsun and his behavior on model of real traffic situation at the Brno Large city circuit in the stretch of road I/42 Žabovřeská I. Describes possible ways of transport surveys and some of them applies to a given section. From the survey results is compiled model in software Aimsun and traffic situation is assessed in several variants. Based on the results are proposed next steps to find solution of traffic situation in a given section.

Crossing on road I/49 in Želechovice

The subject of my thesis was traffic-engineering solution to the crossroads of the streets Osvobození - Podřevnická in several options. For these options were designed needed construction adjustment next was selected one option and after taht was carried out capacity assessment of the crossroads in accordance with relevant technical regulations. To verify the capacity assessment was carried out simulations using the proposed variants Aimsun.
