Influence of the exhaust pipe on the speed characteristic of the four-stroke motorcycle engine
Nádvorník, David ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Smolka, Josef (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is a summary of the knowledge about the exhaust pipe of the motorcycle and its influence on the power and torque of the engine. Further, the bachelor thesis focuses on additional exhaust pipe systems which help to optimize the torque and engine performance. At the end of the thesis are included the results from the experimental measurement dealing with the influence of the exhaust silencer on the curves of the engine speed curve.
Rotary part produced on CNC machine
Ratica, Filip ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The diploma thesis contains an overview of the development of numerical control of machine tools and a historical excursion of the beginnings of numerical control. The work deals with the design and presentation of the component, and then the calculation documentation used to determine the load and safety of the component. After computational and design analysis, the work deals with the design of component production on CNC machines and the technological process of production. Finally, the production of the part is documented and evaluated.
Modern technologies of friction disc clutches design and production
Chaura, Václav ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
The work is summing up the knowledge about different types of clutch, describes its function and fields of the use. Further is focused on the analyses of specific parts and describes possible constructional solutions. Second part of the work is focused on design and manufacturing. In conclusions is outlined the further development of car clutches.
Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Analysis
Slaběňák, Patrik ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Nowadays, oil resources start to decrease, therefore it is necessary to think about alternative sources of energy. The result of this semester project is a basic overview of the current development of electric and hybrid cars, with potential application in normal operation and the proximity of their main characteristics, such as mileage, price and service when traveling. The energy required to operate the electric stored in batteries are recharged using the power stations, which is also devoted part of the work. The thesis focuses on the design and calculation of power consumption for a defined route of four-wheel electric wheelchair. The conclusion of the thesis deals with the future development of hybrid and electric vehicles, and with the expected trends in the field of power electronics and motors and with the propagation of hybrid vehicles to the customers.
Development and Programming of Low Power Cluster
Hradecký, Michal ; Nikl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the building and programming of a low power cluster composed of Hardkernel Odroid XU4 kits based on ARM Cortex A15 and Cortex A7 chips. The goal was to design a simple cluster composed of multiple kits and run a set of benchmarks to analyze performance and power consumption. The test set consisted of HPL and Stream benchmarks and various tests for the MPI interface. The overall performance of the cluster composed of four kits in HPL benchmark was measured 23~GFLOP/s in double-precision. During this test, the cluster showed power efficiency about 0.58~GFLOP/W. The work also describes the installation of PBS Torque scheduler and HPC software build and installation framework EasyBuild on 32-bit ARM platform. The comparison with Anselm supercomputer showed that Odroid cluster is as effiecient as large supercomputer but with slightly higher price.
Microdive with linear piezomotor
Grmela, Petr ; Vrba, Jaromír (referee) ; Koláčný, Josef (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is desctription of function and structure of piezoeletric motor „piezowawes“, creation his laboratory formation and folowing measuring his static characteristic (feed spead / drawing force). Except experimental conclusions is this thesis aim on theoretical analysis and physical explanation of piezoeletric phenomenon. This analys contains materials and important definition which are delaing with this phenomenon. This thesis also contains basic distribution of each kind of piezomotor and discuss aboat their practical use.
Design of synchronous spoke motor
Kopecký, Jan ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Knebl, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis is focused mainly on the theoretical research of permanent magnet synchronous motors. In addition, various methods of designing the motor‘s magnetic circuit are discussed and their advantages and disadvantages are compared. The reluctance network method is analyzed more thorough, because this method is used for motor designing process. In the last part the results obtained by reluctance network are compared with the results evaluated by finite element method.
Modifying the Babetta engine
Poulíček, Matěj ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about one of the possible modifications of two-stroke single-cylinder Babetta 210 engine for increasing of power. Further about another manufactured Babetta engines with focus on their pros and cons. Attention is paid also to possible design changes for elimination of drawbacks.
Construction of BLDC motor with outer rotor
Smrž, Ondřej ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This work is focused on the construction of the BLDC motor with outer rotor . Its mission is to become familiar with the design, basic relationships, applying this type of motor, the design procedure of magnetic circuit with permanent magnets, and then design the engine. Then there is a verification of designed motor finite element method. Finally, it summarizes the characteristics and parameters of the proposal and will compare the initial design with the other two designs, with some changes in the stator teeth.
Indirect torque measurement in the output of load drive
Jelének, Marek ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
For loading of excavator drive units, it is necessary to use electromechanical loads with a high torque up to 16,000 Nm in a low speed range from 0 to 150 min-1 with a maximum output of 50 kW. The electromechanical load consists of an asynchronous dynamometer assembly with a tilting torque measurement system in conjunction with a front three-speed gearbox. The dynamometer is powered by a converter with vector control. To determine the torque at the gearbox output, a correction must be made and the influence of operating temperature and operating speed must be taken into account. Experimental measurement of these influences and dependencies makes it possible to create a mathematical model that can be implemented in the power converter for torque control at the output of the gearbox. The aim of the master thesis is a brief design of the loading drive, design an implementation of experimental measurement of efficiency maps and evaluation of the influence of inefficiency of gearbox efficiency.
