Consumption of tobbaco is one of the key risk factors causing serious illness and early death, although that can be prevented effectively. The Unplugged intervention consists of a total of 12 lessons delivered within one academic year and is based on the Comprehensive Social Influence Model. Aims: To ascertain whether the Unplugged program has an impact on tobacco use, by means of the lifetime and 30-day prevalence indicators. To verify the duration of the program's measurable effect over time using retests. Denormalisation of smoking and stigmatization of smokers in the Czech republic

This bachelor thesis deals with process of denormalization of smoking and possible unintended, negative consequences as stigmatization of smokers. The phenomenon of denormalization of smoking is common for health policy of the vast majority of Western a European states, included Czech republic, over the last decades. It monitors, among other things, reducing the social acceptability of smoking and reducing the number of smokers. In my work, I first examine the process, impacts and tools of these strategies, and then present the theory of stigmatization of smokers, which resonates in recent years in a professional discussion abroad. This theory presents the potential risks associated with creating an atmosphere of social unacceptability of smoking that can lead to a loss of effectiveness of similar measures and a marked deterioration in the life situation of smokers. Qualitative reasearch on a group of 15 respondents examines the perception of social atmposhere in the aproach to smoking, the perception of adopted policy measures and experience with reactions of others, from the point of view of smokers. By analyzing the data then I look for possible negative consequences in the form of stigmatization symptoms of smokers. Bachelor thesis titled Tobacco use in the Czech Republic and legislative measures comprehensively summarized in the theoretical part of tobacco and its history, medical context smoking, the effects of nicotine, describes tobacco addiction and its treatment, and the last part is mainly engaged in tobacco control.
