Axle Assessment Using the EUSAMA Methodology
Novák, Petr ; Gajdoš, Petr (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with problems about areas of a non-assembling diagnostics according to an EUSAMA methodology. Result of the methodology is a technical condition examination of dampers. However with regard to testing of whole suspension and damping vehicle system are results distorted by influence of other vehicle components. EUSAMA needed improvements because of new super light city vehicles and vehicles with runflat tires. Goal of thesis is addition criterion for the EUSAMA which can be used in current EUSAMA suspension testers. Problems are solved by a virtual simulation where is created a model of real vehicle FIAT 500.
Virtual model of resonance adhesion test (EUSAMA)
Hortová, Petra ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
Thesis deals with problems about areas of a non-assembling diagnostics namely resonant adhesive tester according to an EUSAMA methodology. Result of the methodology is a technical condition examination of dampers. However with regard to testing of whole suspension and damping vehicle system are results distorted by influence of testing conditons and another vehical components. Goal of thesis is analysis limits of practical use resonant adhesive tester for a quality checking of mount wheels damping. Problems are solved by a virtual simulation in a program Adams/View where is created a real model of vehical axle of Skoda Roomster TDI 1.4. In the model is consequently simulated possible functional characteristics and abrasions of single components which influence the methodology. Virtual model will be using for research activity of Institute of machine and industrial design Faculty of mechanical ingeneering Brno University of technology.
Computational Model of Shock Absorber
Svršek, David ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis titled, Computational model of shock absorber, is concerned with ways to simulate individual actuators of dampening with the goal of obtaining F-v characteristics dependent on the setup of the shock absorber. The work is divided into two halves, the first one being a review of literature and the second half being practical. The review part is focused on ways of shock absorber constructions and the physical principles involved with the present forces. The practical part of the work contains a computational model of a monotube shock absorber in the Matlab programming software.
The design of hydraulic shock tester load frame.
Jícha, Martin ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Klapka, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design solution of load frame, which will be used with built-in hydropuls actuator for testing and diagnosis of diverted road vehicle suspension dampers. The work contains a brief description of the hydropuls technology principle , description of the main components and specific description of several commercially available devices, including their control systems. The next part of thesis is focused on examine of achal design. A complete design documentation is attached to the work.
GUI for Automotive Tester
Bilík, Šimon ; Čala, Martin (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is aiming in problematic of shock absorber testing, namely by resonance adhesive test methodology EUSAMA. The goal of the thesis was to make a program for measuring and processing signals from shock absorber tester with a graphical user interface to operate of this program. The program was written in the LabVIEW programing language and for data acquisition was used acquisition hardware of the company National Instruments.
Axle assessment using the EUSAMA methodology
Vítek, Lukáš ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachaleor thesis deals with optimalization of axle assessment. The introduction is directed to description shock absorber, non-assembling diagnostics and dynamics of vehicles. The automotive suspension is meant to provide comfort and mainly safety for the passengers. Because shock absorber are stressed, it must be controled. The most important kind of non-assembling diagnostics for this thesis is EUSAMA methodology. All measurement are realized with resonant adhesive tester, which is named TriTec. This device is structural simpler, then other one.
The Effect of Temperature on Damping Behavior
Munduch, Zdeněk ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the influence of temperature on the function of the suspension damper. The magnitude of damping force generated by the shock absorber varies with the temperature of the shock absorber. The reasons why the temperature effect occurs and how to reduce it, for example by suitable valve design, are described. The heat transfer between the damper and its surroundings is also described. The different ways in which heat transfer and the influence of the damper configuration on the heat flux are discussed. Based on the energy balance, an analytical calculation model has been developed to calculate the heat generated by the damper based on the change in the internal energy of the damper and the heat flux between the damper and the surroundings. The findings presented in the model were experimentally tested by measurements on a damping dynamometer in the ÚADI laboratories and the results were compared with other methods of calculating the generated heat. The measurement results show the critical points on the damper where the greatest temperature rise occurs. They also show the change in heat flux between the damper and the damper surroundings depending on the ambient conditions.
