Optimization of Structural Details of Wooden Buildings, Their Assessment and Influence on the Lifetime of a Building
Pilík, Václav
Wood-base buildings are becoming more common among new buildings. That is why it is necessary to comprehensively perceive the shortcomings that are typical of this type of construction. In general, they can include defects caused by inappropriate design or poor construction. Subsequent deficiencies can thus be a direct consequence of the degradation of the structure, they can affect the quality of the internal environment and the overall service life of a building.
The impact of executing new thermal insulation on a apartment building on the expenses associated with its operation
Machová, Petra ; Kosová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis „The impact of executing new thermal insulation on a apartment building on the expenses associated with its operation “ is a draft and appraisal of four variants of thermal insulation of the building. The thesis deals with the assessment of the current proposal for apartment building envelopes along with proposing alternative plans with emphasis on reducing heating costs. The first section describes the types of buildings according to heating demand and a list of different variants of thermal insulation materials. The second part is devoted to a specific apartment building in the Ústí nad Labem for which there are designed in four variants of insulation. The work includes thermal assessment in original condition and the assessment of new condition modified by adding thermal insulation. Through research will bedetermined price of implementation of proposed insulation options together with the costs of operation of the apartment building. In conclusion, the diploma thesis evaluates the payback period of insulation.
Primary School
Forman, Daniel ; Manová, Ludmila (referee) ; Maceková, Věra (advisor)
Thesis Theme is a primary school, namely the outbuilding primary school Havlíčkův Brod, Konečná 1884. I suggest first grade pavilion and pavilion with school canteen with kitchens. Pavilions are based on the footings. Pavilions are designed as a two-way system from the wall HELUZ. Construction of ceiling are from ferroconcrete slabs are cross reinforced, single-layer roof is flat with a classic sequence of layers. In addition to construction and process layout I solved also the statics of building in specialize of concrete structures. The following are also evaluated heat and acoustic requirements and requirements for fire safety of buildings. New pavilions are solved as wheelchair accessible. Pavilion of the first grade has two floors with 5 classes of stem, 1 vocational and 2 classes are earmarked for after-school clubs. This pavilion is connected to the connecting neck between the former pavilon A and pavilion B. Dining pavilion has one floor, which is divided in the school canteen and kitchen is connected to the connecting neck leading to the gym. The land is mildly sloping to the south side. All consstructions comply with the applicable standards and recommendations ČSN.
Family house
Diviš, Lukáš ; Pailová, Alena (referee) ; Maceková, Věra (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a family house with one story above ground and residential basement under the part of building. Shed roof has a slope of 7%. As the load-bearing construction were used bidirectional structure walls made of Porotherm bricks. The building is situated on slightly sloping plot towards the west. All the used constructions are according valid ČSN regulations.
Diagnostics and proposal to eliminate thermal bridges of building
Šagát, Hynek ; Janík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the temperature-moisture assessment of builgind constructions apartment building. Selected critical details are examined in special programs Area 2015 and Cube3D 2015. The thesis also includes thermal measurement of apartment building using a termovision camera. Theoretical calculations are then compared with measurements which were performed on a real building.
Office building with cafe
Ondrová, Martina ; Krupica, Roman (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the Master‘s thesis is to design a detached near-zero energy office building with a café. The building is designed as three-storey detached building with the café on the first floor, offices on the first and second floor and the third floor contains building services. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part consists of architectural and structural designs. The building has foundations combining foundation pads, strips, and a foundation slab under a reinforced concrete core. The superstructure is designed as a reinforced concrete frame with ceramic infill walls and ventilated facade. The floor and warm flat roof structure is designed by using prestressed hollow core panels. The second part focuses on the design of building services and energy efficiency assessment. Heat for space and domestic hot water heating will be provided by air-water heat pumps which would also provide cooling in summer. The building will have mechanical ventilation. The electricity demand will be partially covered by a photovoltaic system. The photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roof. The artificial lightning will be used in the building. The rainwater drained from the roof through roof drains will be directed into a storage tank and reused for flushing toilets. If there is an excess, the water will be diverted via an overflow to a seepage polder on the plot. The third part of the Master's thesis involves a thermal assessment of selected structural focused on thermal bridges. Structural focused is dealing with the anchoring of structures into the building envelope provided by thermal insulation assembly blocks at the anchor points to brake thermal bridges. Calculation of the linear thermal transmittance has verified that thermal bridges do not occur in selected critical points. The calculation of the linear heat transfer coefficient involves two calculation methods, which are compared on the basis of the results in terms of practical application. The used software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Deksoft, BuildingDesign.
Costing with using time standards of construction works
Wittek, Ondřej ; Tichý,, Jan (referee) ; Tichá, Alena (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on costing with using time standards of construction works. In the theoretical part are described notions relating to costing, thermal bridges and standard time. Case study of this thesis is focused on costs comparison of two variants balcony design which are protected against thermal bridges. Comparison is performed by costing which is performed using costing computer program. The result of costing was affected by product prices which was found by research and by time standards which was created using a time measurement.
The Impact of Energy Saving Measures on Prices of Building Operation
Kabzáni, Matej ; Čech, Josef (referee) ; Pertl, Marek (advisor)
The theme of the diploma thesis "Effect of energy care on building prices" is the design and assessment of several measures, two of which generally lead to lower heating costs. The diploma thesis deals with evaluation of the current state of the family house and determination of PENB before the construction modifications and subsequently after the construction modifications, defining subsequent measures for energy saving implementation, both in terms of energy, economic and also environmental.
The Influence of Thermal Insulation of a Residential Building in Slavičín on the Expenses Related to its Operation
Zvonek, Lukáš ; Mázl, Michal (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is the economic evaluation of return of the different variants of thermal insulation for residential building in Slavičín. In the first part are described the topics, which is related to the issue. Further, it is written the entire range of insulations, which currently are appear on the domestic market. In the practical part is described the residential house and are performed by the proposals of the variants of thermal insulation. Further, they are processed energy performance certificates for buildings, the cost to implement the options chosen. In conclusion, the evaluated individual variants and determined their economic return.
Influence of the building envelope structures on the expenses associated with the operation
Baďurová, Monika ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
The thesis deals with the assessment of the current proposal for pension envelopes along with proposing alternative plans with emphasis on reducing heating costs. The first section describes the types of buildings according to heating demand and output energy performance of buildings. Work also deals with a list of different variants of thermal insulation materials and design options outer insulation of the building envelope. It outlines fire characteristics of building materials and options of construction budget. The second part is devoted to a specific pension house in the Old Rejviz for which there are designed in three variants of insulation. These variants are then reviewed in terms of thermal insulation. Through research will bedetermined price of implementation of proposed insulation options together with the costs of operation of the pension. The conclusion is to evaluate each proposed version of insulation of the building envelope associated with the economic return on investment.
