Abstract: Wood-base buildings are becoming more common among new buildings. That is why it is necessary to comprehensively perceive the shortcomings that are typical of this type of construction. In general, they can include defects caused by inappropriate design or poor construction. Subsequent deficiencies can thus be a direct consequence of the degradation of the structure, they can affect the quality of the internal environment and the overall service life of a building.
