Professional training and other educational opportunities of teaching assistants on the process of integration and inclusion of handicapped children
MALIŇÁKOVÁ, Adéla
The introduction to my thesis outlines the view on the integration and inclusion as increasingly used terms, when their meaningfulness is understood by handicapped children´s parents every day. Thanks to the current trend of integrating disabled and disadvantaged children into mainstream education, the work of teacher´s assistents is necessary. It points out their function in inclusion, which is extremely important and hence their knowlege and skills in the handicapped children´s issue should be more than above average. The assistant tutors the child, explains specific tasks, as well as helps the child with his or her personal problems. The thesis also mentions an opinion on the correctness, so that a pedagogcially oriented university graduate had also the competence to bet he teacher´s assistant, because his or her knowledge should be sufficient. This however does not mean that they should not educate themselves any more, and get new information, that is on the contrary. The work with children is a very responsible activity and whoever does it should have the ambitions to improve their knowledge. This bachelor´s thesis is focused on the overview of options of the teachers´ assistants´professional preparation in the current toplist of the South Bohemia region and it maps the available educational courses and offers of school facilities. The thesis is also enhanced by a general overview offer of educational institutions in individual regions of the Czech Republic and school facilities providing additional education or lifelong study. In the theoretial part the thesis focuses on the clarification and explanation of the term ´teacher´s assistant´, its legal interpretation according to the laws of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. A certain part is devoted to the historical development of the teacher´s assistant´s proffession, and it specifies their work competence. It specifies the current legislative definition of the required education needed for the proffession of assistants, distinguishing the direct educational activity within the class and indirect educational activity that consists of auxiliary educational work. It also explains the difference between the terms ´integration´ - ´inclusion´ and the terms connected to inclusion, e.g. inclusive environment, inclusive school, or inclusive education. It also defines and introduces the reader to individual types of handicaps that might occur in handicapped children´s integration. It specifies the particular conditions of inclusion for given handicap and suitable attitudes towards a functioning integration. In the practical part the thesis specifically maps out the available educational institutions from the region of South Bohemia, their current offers, focus and requirements. Further on it deals with educational institutions offering the study for teachers´ assistants in all the regions of the Czech Republic, including the national organization of the National institute for further edcuation, which cooperates with the Ministry of Education , Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and with the Eurofound for regional development. All the institutions were addressed during the period of 1 July 2014 and 2 August 2014, addressed through questionnaires sent by emails to specify their activity and the subject taught. A semi-structured interview took place with chosen institutions to clarify information. The research part is terminated with individual interviews with chosen teachers´ assistants from the region of South Bohemia, working at primary and secondary schools, that took the form of semi-structured interviews. The assistants commented on their education, possible obstacles or the perspective of the teacher´s assistant´s proffession.

Analysis of Occurrence of Imported Infectious Diseases in the Region of South Bohemia over the Last Five Years
MYSLÍK, Ladislav
Imported diseases are infections that have been acquired during a travel or a stay abroad. Such infectious diseases may include cosmopolitan and potential re-introduction illnesses and tropical and re-emerging illnesses. The movement of populations affects the distribution and spread of communicable diseases globally. Today?s mobility and unnatural interaction of different races or otherwise geographically defined populations facilitate the emergence of contagious diseases in humans, animals or, even in plants. Some pathogens can be imported into a new area by travellers or immigrants in the absence of illness signs or symptoms. Many geographical barriers have now been breached by mobility and migration. The theoretical section of this thesis is mainly aimed to provide a description of the most common imported diseases according to their current epidemiological trends. Travel-related risks, risk groups of travellers and migration characteristics are also mentioned. In addition, it deals with domestic and international inbound and outbound tourism and includes a forecast of international tourism development towards 2030. The conclusion of the theoretical section aims to describe epidemiology of imported diseases and to provide an insight into systems of monitoring and surveillance of travel-related infections, such as GeoSentinel Surveillance Network, EuroTravNet, TropNet and the Czech Nationwide Epidat information system. The objective of this diploma thesis of the empirical section is to carry out an analysis of occurrence of imported infectious diseases in the Region of South Bohemia over the last five years. Data and information recorded into Epidat database from 2007 to 2011 shapes the target group. Methods of research are mainly based on descriptive statistics that describe most of collected data quantitatively. Moreover, seven hypotheses were designed that were tested via results using regression analysis, Pearson's chi-squared test and Student's t-test. A total of 190 cases from 46 world-wide destinations were imported between 2007 and 2011. Of those, 166 were imported by residents; 24 cases were brought in by foreigners. The most frequent countries of acquisition were European destinations (49%; n = 92), Asia (33%; n = 63) and Africa (16%; n = 31). Gastro-intestinal (GI) diseases accounted for 68.4% of illnesses, followed by blood-borne and vector-borne infections. GI conditions included campylobacteriosis (n = 38), salmonellosis (n = 33) and shigellosis (n = 30). Amongst blood-borne diseases, hepatitis B accounted for 21 cases (mainly in Vietnamese). Amongst vector-borne illnesses, 6 cases of malaria and 1 case of dengue were identified. Hypothesis H1 (further described only as H2, etcetera) "There is an association between numbers of travellers and occurrence of imported infectious diseases" was rejected. H2 "There is a different incidence rate among countries of acquisition" could not be confirmed because of the lack of the denominator data (numbers of travellers to specific destinations). H3 "The most frequent countries of acquisition are European countries" was confirmed and accepted. H4 "The highest rate of imported infectious diseases is in the České Budějovice District" was confirmed and accepted. H5 "The most frequent imported infections are gastro-intestinal diseases" was confirmed and accepted. H6 "There is a descending tendency of occurrence of imported infectious diseases" was rejected. H7 "There is a higher likelihood of presenting with a vaccination preventable disease in unvaccinated returned travellers" could not be confirmed due to the lack of data.

BREMOVÁ, Martina
This thesis deal with a issue of not making the best of these objects, so - called brownfileds. This project's point was to analyze brownfileds situation in the South region area and to suggest a possibility of making the best of them in a chosen area. A former glass factory has been chosen for this purpose. Wide area of formal glass factory in a Lenora village has been chosen for the actual suggestion of brownfileds revitalization as this area has not been served it's purpose for years. The suggestion to use this area largely faces tourist trade potential. This whole area is attractive for tourists for various reasons, as nature and social activities, location and good transport from a Lipno area. However most of the tourists are wanting a accomodation and spare time activities in areas with major possibilty of supporting tourist services. Creating a museum in the former Lenora's glass factory could help a sequetial expansion of tourist services and also attract tourists to stay for a longer period.
