Albanian community in Prague

Bachelor thesis focuses on the Albanian community in Prague, particularly the Kosovo Albanians and Albanians from Albania. It was developed based on field research and study of literature and Internet sources. The work is divided into six chapters. The introductory part is a topic of work. The second chapter describes the sources used and the respondents. The third focuses on the methodology of work, then on field research conducted through interviews and questionnaires. In the theoretical part of the work focused on the issue of Czech-Albanian relations and the country, where Albanians live. Empirical processes of field research conducted among Albanian respondents. In the last part of the thesis is summarized.

The language of Czech minority in Šumice in the Romanian Banat

This thesis contributes to a research on Czech dialects in language enclaves abroad. The aim of the paper is to describe the language of the Czech minority in the village of Šumice in Romanian Banat. All traditional levels of language are analyzed: phonological, morphological, syntactical, lexical and word-formation. The research was restricted only to the oldest generation, that means to the people over sixty-five. In the beginning, the author deals with the history of Czech immigrants in Romania and also with their contemporary life. Particular attention is paid to the history of Šumice. In the following part of the thesis, the methods of gathering material are described, as well as the further data processing. The research was supplemented with results of a dialectological questionnaire and with transcriptions of recorded speeches. For comparison, the author used transcriptions of recordings from the 1971 and also data about Šumice from the Český jazykový atlas (Czech Linguistic Atlas). The results of the research are described gradually, separately for each language level. Besides the facts found out on the basis of the questionnaires, the author also presents phenomena detected only in the recordings. Master thesis: Wedding in the town of region of Zdar nad Sazavou Author: Bc. Veronika Macková Supervisor: PhDr. Jaroslava Krupková, CSc. ABSTRACT This thesis is focused on the description of the current marriage in the district town of Zdar nad Sazavou. The thesis is a methodology of field research, where I describe the basic information on how to collect information in the field. This work incorporates two general chapters on marriage. One is about how it is legally defined marriage in the Czech Republic, and the second deals with the status of marriage in human life. An integral part of this thesis is also crucial appreciation of literature and sources and historical development and current form Zdarsky whole region. In this thesis the main chapters are solved on three: the bridal, wedding day and the next day after the wedding. Each chapter has several requirements under subchapters. Contemporary wedding in the district town Zdar nad Sazavou is the traditional model compares the captured in the 19th and 20th century. Acculturation Strategies in Musical Self-presentations of Immigrants in the Czech Republic

This thesis is based on my research dealing with musicians - members of different immigrant minority communities, who explicitly identify themselves with their ethnicity and the region of their origin. The musicians mention that they come, e.g., from Cuba, Ukraine or generally from "Central Asia" and the music offered to the audience is presented as "Cuban", "Ukrainian folk" or "traditional music of Central Asia". The subject of study are their concerts, regarded as musical occasions - performances - with defined modes of participants' interaction. In the Goffmanian sense, the meaning of each selfpresentation is determined by the behavior of the musicians during the performances, and the repertoire, place and occasion of the event and type of audience are considered as "bearers of sings". In their self-presentations, the musicians expose in various ways who they are, where they come from and in various ways present the musical (not only) culture of their origin. Inspiring myself by typology of acculturation strategies formulated by John W. Berry (Berry et al., 1997), I try to identify acculturation strategies based on factors determining the character of the respective musical self-presentations of the immigrants. This thesis presents analyse of chinese market in segment of heating body with object evaluate possibility to enter on this difficult market from czech company. At beginning of thesis are drawing up basic theoretic data which constituting base of market research. In the first the practical part appreciates position of company on the czech market and also inside analyse was made out. Individual variables, which could influence successfully activity on chinese market are revaluation in the part of foreign´s marketing research . Basic articles for business on chinese market are set out in this partition. The pieces of knowledge which create recommendation for company from the question if the company have establist or not, formulated on the basic of finding marketing research.

Weathering pits of the natural park of Čeřínek

This Bachelor thesis deals with weathering pits in the natural park of Čeřínek and hypotheses of their origin. The Bachelor thesis is divided into two chapters. The first theoretical chapter wich is drawing from the literature, describes the selected physic- geographical characteristics ofthe park: geology, geomorphology, climate, biogeography and found mesoforms and microforms of relief. The second chapter is practical, it consists of a fielad research weathering pits and wheatering rifts in the selected locality. At wheatering pits have been studied direction and size of the slant of bed, lenght,width,depth and length of drainage groove. At wheatering rifts were measured their direction and size of the slant. The orientation of the bottoms of panholes was compared with the horizontal fractures within given rock masiffs. The thesise contains stereograms of wheatering pits, crakc´s diagrams, maps and photographs. All these supplements were acquired during fieldwork at monitored field.

Minor religious objects in the landscape of ORP Český Krumlov

The Bachelor´s Thesis deals with mapping of the minor religious objects in landscape of ORP Český Krumlov. On the basis of terrain research there were taken photographs of minor religious objects in the given area and they were consequently charted to the map. This work contains a typology of the watched religious objects in ORP Český Krumlov. The part of the work are objects lists, which are complemented with the info required by the administrator of ÚAP.

Mapping of sacral objects in the micro region of Vodňany

The present thesis deals with the sacral objects in the catchment area ORP Vodnany, and is divided into several parts. The preliminary part consists of field research of the area, whereat reached the photograph of studied sacral objects, furthermore monitoring of the geographic position, charting of typology of its kind, the degree and the reasons of the damage. I described these findings in the section concerned the reason of the sacral objects position in the monitored area, together with the typology of the observed sacral landscape. The piece of work includes the methodology of creating geo-databases and the synoptic maps connected with the topic in ArcGIS 9.3. software.

Mapping of the sacred properties in the microregion of Týn nad Vltavou

The bachelor?s work is concerned with mapping of the sacred properties in the microregion of Týn nad Vltavou. On the basis of a terrain research there were taken photographs of some sacred properties in the given area and they were consequently charted to the map. This work contains a typology of the watched sacred properties and geografical aspects of the location of the sacred properties in the microregion of Týn nad Vltavou. The part of the work creates geodatabase. The text of this work is complemented with the photographs, the charts and the map enclosures.
