Topics of the first and last mile in urban transport

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the first and last mile in urban transport. It generally defines the issues of the first and last mile and provides an overview of available solutions. At the same time, it briefly looks at the future in the form of autonomous management. The individual solutions are described and subsequently related to the continent of Europe. The next step is to map and analyse the available options in the Statutory City of Brno. The result of this work is an evaluation of current available solutions and a proposal for further solving the problem of the first and last mile.

Proposal to Improve Information System E - Dispatching of XY Company

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the existing information system E - dispatch in S TAXI company. A central part is an analysis of the information system, following a complex analysis of business processes. This analysis is followed by section devoted to recommendations for improvements in selected parts of the existing information system, including a proposal for a completely new functional parts, which are based on the company's requirements. The thesis is ended by an evaluation of the proposal, which is based on comparision of the situation before and after the introduction of the solution.

The legal status of drivers of traditional and alternative taxi services in terms of employment law Abstract The aim of this thesis is to apply the defining features of dependent work to the activity performedby drivers in domestic taxi service - and based on this analysis - to decide whether the nature of this work really corresponds to the declared position of drivers as independent providers of transport services mediated by a third party, or whether they potentially are misclassifiedemployees entitledto all labor benefits associatedwith such status. The subject of interest is not only the activityof "traditional"but also "alternative"taxi drivers. Therefore, the work first deals with the phenomenon of shared economy, term allegedly justifiingthe above-mentioneddichotomy and in the eyes of some authors a reason for special legal treatment of some subjects onthe taxi market.Throughthe analysis of the theoryof shared economy with emphasis on the transport sector, a historical excursion into the sharing of transport capacity and a comparison of the operation of BlaBlaCar and Uber services, it is concluded that the subjects dealt in the thesis cannot be subsumed under the concept of shared economy. Analysis of the Taxi Services in Prague

The bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of the Prague taxi service with the alternative service Uber. The theoretical part is devoted to defining the basic terms which are used in this branch. Subsequently the branch of taxi service is defined, together with all the conditions associated with its operation, with a look back on history. Another part contents brief description of main subjects in the field of classic and alternative taxis. In the practical part, the work first focuses on introducing the Uber company, operating conditions within its services and services itself. The analysis of taxi and Uber driver's input costs follows. The last chapter deals with the development of taxis for the future.

Product innovation in mobile applications

Aim of this master thesis is to determine whether the introduction of new functionality into mobile application based on existing competitive trends, can grant selected application a new position on the market. To evaluate the hypothesis we used data collection and feedback from users. Thesis shows introduces various aspects associated with product management in practice. The theoretical part defines the product management and mobile applications as products, product innovation and describes the methodology used within management of the product. The goal of the practical part is the selection process of the new functionality, which is corporate program, description of all aspects of the preparation of the functionality and consequently its development. Based on the data and the feedback from users we evaluate its contribution to the company Liftago and its new positioning on the market.

The objective of the thesis is to summarise information about the issue of taxi services in the City of Prague in clear and understandable way. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the history of the taxi services, its current status, valid legislation, controlling activities and eventually about the management of taxi assemblies. The practical part is focused on the costs incurred by running taxi services, furthermore this part contains a public survey which is focused on the usage of taxis in the capital city of Prague

Práce je zaměřena na povinnosti spojené s provozováním taxislužby. Je provedena analýza spokojenosti spotřebitelů se současnou taxislužbou v konkrétní lokalitě - ve Strakonicích. Současně jsou jasně vymezeny povinnosti provozovatelů taxislužby vyplývající ze zákona. Jsou navržena doporučení pro zlepšení současného stavu, jejichž uplatnění v praxi je sledováno.
