Efficiency of teaching Old Czech and Moravian Tales by method of Structured Drama comparing with efficiency of frontal teaching.

The diploma thesis compares the efficiency of teaching Old Czech and Moravian Tales by method of structured drama comparing with the efficiency of frontal teaching of the same topic. The research aim is focused on the comparison of learning results of pupils who were taught by the method of structured drama with the results of pupils who were taught by the method of frontal teaching. Furthermore, the diploma thesis finds out if structured drama helps pupils to better understand the negotiation of other people. The theoretical part includes the definition of drama education, the goals of drama education, the principles of drama education, a description of drama education as a method of teaching, and evaluation in drama education. The main focus from the methods and techniques of drama education is on structured drama. The theoretical part is also dedicated to frontal teaching - it is basic characteristics, a brief history, frontal teaching in modern schools, plus the advantages and disadvantages of frontal teaching. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to the comparison of drama education with frontal teaching. Thematics of madness in the tales of Guy de Maupassant

The main aim of this bachelor's thesis is to determine by which literary means Guy de Maupassant (1850 1893) portrays the theme of madness in his tales. This theme is associated with the genre of fantastic novel in the 19th century, but also with his own life. At the beginning, his life and his literary creation are presented. Then it is focused on the genre of the fantastic tales and novellas. The most important part of this thesis is the analysis of the selected texts which contain the element of madness. This analysis identifies motives typical for the characters, settings and plots of the selected texts. The obtained knowledge is summarised in the conclusion of the thesis. Characters of women -mothers in tales of chosen hindu authors

The diploma thesis deals with reflection of a picture of women- mothers in chosen hindu tales. Deals about motherhood in India on the base of literal characters of woman- mothers, analyses significant aspects of motherhood in India. Pays attention to influences of surrounding society and how they struggle with it. The thesis sources from original literature in hindi language and from other translations with taking account of original verses.
Galician folklore in Emilia Pardo Bazán's tales

This paper analyses the folklore elements in the Spanish tales written by Emilia Pardo Bazán. The focus is on the Galician folklore, because of the origin of this author and her use of them in her work. Pardo Bazán lived a significant part of her live in many countries of Europe, she met famous authors of 19. century and got inspired by them. She also fought for the womens rights, criticized the traditional upbringing of girls and the fact, that they could not get a proper education because of their gender. Even though she was a women of progressive thoughts and behaviour, never took against the value of this heritage which is hidden in folklore. The main focus is on the superstitions and typical surroundings of this region and its influence on the thinking and acting of the local people. The paper is divided to 4 parts, which focus is on folklore in general, Galician folklore, author's life and the last part is a tale's analysis. Differences and similiarities in the Czech and Japanese culture as seen in myths and tales

This paper focuses on universality of folk tales from different parts of the world, such as Czech and Japan, due to sharing many common components. The evolution of Japanese philosophy and religion is scrutinized up to the Tokugawa era, and is compared to the process of Christianization in our region. The evolution of tales follows from their mythical roots up to their expansion into literature. A section about folkloristic research of tales and he work of V. J. Propp ensues. The evolution of Czech folk tales is focused on the Czech National Revival and the works of K. J. Erben and B. Němcová. Then the evolution of Japanese tales is defined by the evolution of Japanese writing system up to 19th century folkloristics. The comparison itself deals with particular components common to both groups of tales, Czech and Japanese, while it focuses on how these components are dealt with differently in each society. In conclusion, tendencies in the perception of tales in the 20th and 21st century are indicated, and its significance for early development of human beings despite the recent trend in society of deviating away from our own roots.
