Symbiotic imprint
Kachtíková, Michaela ; Tkáčová, Lucia (referee) ; Houser, Milan (advisor)
The thesis entitled "Symbiotic Imprint" explores the symbiotic relationship between the physicality and the mind through a meditative practice that materializes in a site-specific installation inside the catacombs. The thesis reflects the artist's personal research into the inner mental space that is transformed into physical form. The author presents a space that, while familiar to her, is at the same time alien, and which is constantly transforming and evolving as a result of long-term care. This process leads to the creation of a unique dialogue between external and internal environments, where physical interaction and presence of body become key components for deeper understanding and self-knowledge. The site-specific installation attempts to connect the outer and inner worlds, the visible and the hidden, inside and outside.

Corpus, Corporeality, Carnality
Lienerová, Lucie ; Čech,, Viktor (referee) ; Fexová, Patricie (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is corpus, corporeality and carnality inspired by Ovid's Metamorphoses. The practical outcome is a series of paintings, drawings and objects thematizing the particular parts of the transformation of human, object and environment into individual organic forms. The transformation of the human being itself is seen as a painful process, but one that also allows for liberation from much more extensive physical and psychological suffering. The motifs of transformation are shaped and documented in a painterly way on the artist's close person and then on the environment and objects that surround this person.

The text deals with ways and methods of creating my diploma thesis called Steal me your €motion. The diploma thesis deals with the relationship between machine learning and emotionality. To what extent is artificial intelligence able to undergo emotional relationships and experiences defined by the physicality and experience of the human body. The topic of the work is the creation of a (fictional) inhuman entity that longs to learn from people as many bodily acts as possible that will help it infiltrate the human community. In addition to reflecting the current level of scientific knowledge, I bring an element of fiction and fiction.
Presentness
Šmerdová, Markéta ; Jezbera, Ladislav (referee) ; Ambrůz, Jan (advisor)
I aim to conclude my four-year study with the following thesis, which puts at work all the knowledge and experience that I have accumulated during my study of body art. Professor Jan Ambruz, who oversees Sculpture Studio 2, inspires a unique feeling of passion in his students, a feeling which every one of them utilizes in his or her own way. His studio provided me with a great deal of artistic freedom. I became inspired by Andrea Simotova’s work through my own personal experience. It was also doc. Pavel Korbicka who – as her close friend and colleague – acquainted me with her work and personality, while inspiring me to do in-depth research. As I studied her work, I discovered that the core of her artistic production lies in the exploration of femininity. I may scarcely compare my life to hers; however, the woman and her artistic production have touched me on a deeply personal level – especially through the measure of intimacy that she employs while exploring her own life. In my thesis, I would like to employ both my knowledge of the body and my feelings towards myself.
physicality of painting
Teperová, Natálie ; Klímová, Barbora (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)

The canvas is attached to the table with Velcro, which allows KH to unclip from the boards and gives the possibility of wearability.

Germ and potential
Kachtíková, Michaela ; Houser, Milan (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with topics such as presence, perception of corporeality and oneself appear in the context of the process of creation of a work. The evolving themes reflect subjective present vision and fascination with materiality, in order to achieve sustainable art and life. It asks questions of aesthetic - philosophical nature. What is the relationship between art and sustainability, the relationship between work, its creator, and objects? The work that was created is a material artifact, a record of being in the past and in the present. It is like a record arc, a photograph of a given reality, created to understand the past in the future. It is a reflection of the inner nakedness, internal processes, inner emotions and thoughts which shape the inner aspects of the psyche, expand into space, crawl, fill, and have their own distinctive life.
Triumph of Ugliness
Kolářová, Monika ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Houser, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor theses is my engagement with phenomenon of body, focused on the theme of beauty and ugliness. Through the Dionysian body type I am trying to capture the weight of physical imperfections. In contrast with the delicacy and subtlety glaze paintings I am trying to achieve a balance between the representatives of the general phenomenon of beauty and ugliness.
Performance Art as a Border Form of Artistic Expression
Vatulíková, Andrea ; Daněk, Josef (referee) ; Havlík, Vladimír (referee) ; Chamonikolasová, Kaliopi (advisor)
While taking into account the field of study of performing arts, I assume that the category called „performing arts“ underwent many reforms in the 20th century, making it almost impossible to set clear boundaries between theatre, dance and performance art. Therefore I deal with their common ground that I call the zero point and that allows me to explore means of expression of human body and also time – space dimension of live action. The zero point is located in the pelvic region of the body and it is the center of stability, balance and life enegry. In my dissertation I focus on the analysis of physical trainings that work with the zero point in theater, dance and performance arts. Primary output of this work is then analysis of physicality as culturally encoded construct and the practical part of disseration is focused on the realisation of the point zero symposium.
