The Virgin Mary in the Work of Bohuslav Reynek

The thesis deals with the research of pictorial and poetic work, the motif of which is the Virgin Mary, in the work of the poet and painter Bohuslav Reynek. The aim of the work is a deeper knowledge of the topic and penetration into the Marian theme in the work of Bohuslav Reynek, based on Roman Catholic Christian pre-understanding, especially in the field of systematic theology - mariology. The work is conducted with regard to the literary and pictorial meaning of the subject. The main tool used is the available literature dealing with the issue.

Contemporary Authors Richard Schaefller and Theo de Boer gave new impulse to the philosophy of religion: a different view of God's characteristics (e.g. transcendence, perfection), emphasis on the experience of revelation and existential experience, finding inspiration in art and contemporary culture, thinking in a dialogical context - Personnel a positive perception of time and historicity, the newly rediscovered structure they will tell faith. In contrast, the philosophy of religion early 20th century based on reason and Aristotelian thought and refused to talk about the role of time in the region. As its representative serves to author of this work Cyril Weir's writings: Personal God and religion. The thesis assesses the work in the historical context, deals with the analysis of his book, while it compares with the current philosophy of religion. In the end the author evaluates the ideas that the results of his work can offer to the dogmatic theology.

20th Century Theologies of Play - Hugo Rahner and Jurgen Moltmann: Blind Alley

The aim of the present text is play and playing along all respective forms from the perspective of systematic theology. Two most comprehensive play theologiesas presented in the books Der Spielende Mensch by Hugo Rahner and Die Ersten Freigelassenen der Schöpfung by Jürgen Moltmann and connected writings are analysed. The analysis expands on the understanding of play as play and ensuing theological interpretations, as portrayed by both authors, in the context of their theological legacy, professional endeavours and historical circumstances relating to the time of inception of their respective play theologies. Such play theologies are outlined both on the general level and presented inparticular details and points of emphasis in terms of systematic theology. Sources of inspiration, direct motivations to engage in play theologies arepresented from the perspective of both respective theologians as well as thereception and impact of their writings. Consequently, a comparison of both play theologies is presented. Their compatibility is argued both on the level of key eschatological and soteriological conclusions as well as foundations emphasising freedom, joy and creativity as fundamental theological qualities of play. Geoffrey Wainwright, Doxology. The Praise of God in Worship, Doctrine, and Life. A Systematic Theology. New York 1980. The book is introduced in the bachelor thesis as a systematic theology written from a liturgical perspective. It can also be considered as a theology of worship. Wainwright indicates that the relations between doctrine and worship are deep rooted and far reaching, and they influence each other significantly. The first part of the book sketches the substance of Christianity. The second part examines instruments of Christian tradition - the means by which the vision is transmitted through time. In the third part, direct attention is given to questions regarding the Christian vision proclaimed in the second half of the twentieth century. The conclusion of the book brings out the orientation towards the future. It is suggested that there are rewards for the whole life of the Church in doing the theological task in a liturgical perspective. Since God's kingdom and human salvation can be described as true worship, every improvement in the quality of liturgy by which our present Christian life is focally expressed is worthwhile.
