VGA image generation with microcontroller
Polášek, Jan ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is concerned with generating image in VGA format using microcontroller. It’s aimed at microcontrollers series AVR from producer Atmel. Project contains VGA interface description, solves its connection to microcontroller’s output ports, further it contains connection diagram of image generation device with microcontroller Atmel ATmega324P, that I constructed during work on this project.. In project are analyzed fundamentals of image generating in microcontroller, synchronization of image using microcontroller’s internal counter, creating of simple graphic images and text and principles of generating colour images. Generation of text is analyzed in details, including source code for microcontroller. The result of this bachelor‘s thesis is functional image generator device.
The development of euro in the context of European debt crisis
Machová, Veronika ; Čajka, Radek (advisor) ; Bolotov, Ilya (referee)
The main objective of this thesis is to provide an overview of developments and issues in the context of the European debt crisis. Euro as a central aspect of Economic and Monetary Union has a major impact on convergence and existing systemic problems of the EU. The first chapter provides a brief description of the european integration since World War II in the context of Economic and Monetary union. The second chapter defines the concept of nominal and real convergence and dedicates closer to the Maastricht convergence criteria and the Stability and Growth Pact, which was the result of efforts towards closer fiscal coordination. Moreover, it summarizes the main causes of the financial crisis and subsequently analyses its impact on the EUR/USD currency pair. The fourth chapter focuses on the systemic weaknesses of the eurozone with an emphasis on the imbalance in the current account balance of payments. The last chapter summarizes the approaches to solving the debt crisis assuming that current steps taken by eurozone leaders in cooperation with the governments of intebted members fail.
Development of Multithreaded Applications on the Java 8 platform
Souček, Dan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
This master thesis is a programmer's guide book of a concurrent programming on the Java 8 platform. Concurrency brings additional issues that cannot occur in single-threaded ap-plications. One of the thesis' objectives is to analyze these issues and introduce several principles that, in case they are properly followed, help to create flawless and well-behaving concurrent applications. Another goal of this thesis is to describe the Java con-currency programming from the theoretical point of view. Firstly, the thesis is focused on basic thread development and synchronization issues. Later, it introduces the features and instruments that are provided by Java 5 and higher versions. The theoretical passages are enriched by practical examples that perform discussed features and help to clarify some specific issues. The thesis is written in Czech language and covers large set of concurrency topics from the very basics through the utility libraries to modern instruments present in Java 8.
ServiceNow Development Tools
Paulech, Matej ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Janeček, Jakub (referee)
The topic of this paper is creation of new ServiceNow development tool. ServiceNow is cloud based IT service support management tool. It is widely customizable, mainly by creating scripts. The problem is that scripts are created via web browser, which is not very user friendly. The main goal of this paper is to design better solution for creating scripts in ServiceNow and implement it for selected integrated development environment - Eclipse. Created development tool should support these operations - checking out scripts from ServiceNow to local workspace, editing them in special editor, updating them to newest version and committing them back to ServiceNow with check that work of some other developer is not overwritten. The main contribution of this paper is created ServiceNow development tool that provides better user experience than existing solutions. This paper is only start of development. It will continue in the future.
Synchronization of vector graphic between multiple clients and server
Votava, Štěpán ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vencovský, Filip (referee)
Goal of this master thesis is to analyze existing algorithms for ensuring consistency in real-time synchronization of vector graphics between server and multiple clients, testing them, describe main differences and selection of the best for this purpose. The theoretical part is devoted to realtime comunication over HTTP, to WebSockets, to concurrency algorithms and to basics of application architecture. The practical part describes the technology used in this thesis, as well as actual application design a its implementation. The result of this thesis is an overview of concurrency algorithms, the choise of technology for real-time communication between server and multiple clients and implementation of selected technologies and algorithms in Node.js application.
Analyse multithreaded applications development possibilities on the Java platform
Chamila, Sergius ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Oraný, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis is an analysis of frameworks which support multithreading application devel-opment on platform Java. In particular this thesis analyses the overview of libraries which supports multithreading development in this language. Provided features are shown and described by the code examples. The thesis describes the principles of concurrent pro-gramming. Although multithreaded applications undoubtedly have many advantages, one of the goals of the thesis is to highlight the possible risks associated with their use. By the analysis of Java platform, I used method of description, analysis, synthesis and comparison. This thesis is composed of theoretical part, which defines the basic concepts and principles of concurrent applications. Theoretical parts also contain recherché of works, which deal with the topic of concurrent programming. In the analytical part are described and evaluated changes at various versions of Java language. Benefit of this work is clear documentation and evaluation of Java language concurrent utilities, from the oldest version of Java 1 to latest Java 8. So this work can help those, who need to learn how to develop concurrent applications in Java.
Testing process improvement and implementation of improvements
Chaloupecký, Martin ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Hrubý, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the testing process improvement and the implementation of specific improvement. Its objective is to describe the methodology TPI NEXT, define possible approaches to synchronization tools HP Quality Center and JIRA and implementation of the application for synchronization defects from HP Quality Center to JIRA. The first part of the thesis defines the basic terminology of testing and testing principles. Second part contains description of the methodology TPI NEXT, focusing on its key areas. The next part of the thesis describes synchronization of HP Quality Center and JIRA in the context of testing process improvement. The main part of the thesis focuses on approaches to synchronization tools HP Quality Center and JIRA and specific implementation of synchronization bridge. This bridge allows unilateral synchronization of defects from HP Quality Center to JIRA and is written in Java.
Nesting biology of the Pink Flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber) in the zoo Ohrada
ŠENKÝŘOVÁ, Marie
Flamingos belong to the Phoenicopteridae family. They are occurred from India, through southern Europe to South Africa, flamingo cover Caribbean and southern half of South America at the Western Hemisphere. They consist mainly monogamous couples and their nesting is highly synchronized. They lay usually one egg, even if there are the records about laying two eggs. Incubation of the Greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber) takes 26-32 days. The thesis was performed in Zoo Ohrada Hluboká nad Vltavou, where observation of nesting behavior at Greater flamingos (Phoenicopterus ruber roseus) was the main focus of observation. It was used the method of the direct observation, add a notes of zoo-keeper. Birds were recognition by color rings with a three-letter code. The main aims were the observation nesting activities which were compared at different times, between males and females and between individuals. Evaluating the parameters of the breeding to improve breeding was other aim. There were determined, that nesting activities were different among individuals, among couples and also among sex of individuals. Display of nesting activities also depended on the situation, in which individuals found, if it had an empty nest, egg or chick, or if the egg were lost and had to lay new one. It was determined, that the nesting activities of individuals varies accord the season. They are too high synchronization in the period of laying eggs and hatching chicks. Observing individuals did more non-nesting activities.
