Economic crisis - nature and circumstances of genesis

1 Abstract: Economic crises - nature and factors of its origin The purpose of my thesis is to analyze economic crises with focus on its origin, development and impact on society. The thesis is divided into three main parts: Introduction, Main body and Conclusion. The most important part of the thesis is the Main body that is further composed of seven self-contained chapters that deal with different aspects of the economic crises. Main body starts with introductory chapters 1-3 that discuss the meaning of the phrase economic crisis, its origin and determination among other commonly used titles that are frequently mistaken. Chapter number four describes history of important economic crisis such as The Great Depression 1929 and German Hyperinflation 1918- 1924. Chapter number five is subdivided into two parts and provides an outline of the origin of economic crisis and possible forecast of its origin. Chapter six defines the last financial crisis of 2009 and compares its impact to economy and counter-measures worldwide. Chapter number six illustrates possible solutions of the economic crisis and its prevention. Last part of the thesis is Conclusion that concentrates my thoughts and ideas about the thesis. Economic Development of China with a Focus on Foreign Direct Investment

The thesis deals with economic development of People's Republic of China the country's role in global economy and its foreign direct investment. The initial chapter introduces the concept of development of a country from a general and economic point of view. The second part of the thesis aims to describe the current situation in China and focuses on concrete parts of its development. The purpose of the final chapter is to analyse the flow of foreign direct investment from China.
Analysis of the Economic Development of BRICS Countries in 2007–2015

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is economic development assessment among and within BRICs countries in the context of developed world during 2007-2015. Based on yearly panel data, an analysis for following macroeconomic indicators was carried out: gross domestic product, inflation rate, unemployment rate, current account on the balance of payments, exchange rate. The profound analysis of selected indicators is instrumental in the comparison of member states and is supplemented by the comparison of BRICs and G6. Based on its evidence, I come to a conclusion that the BRICs as a whole succeeded in establishing as a strong global actor. That has been achieved with the help of global financial crisis, but also with regard to the economic policy implemented in 2007-2015. As a result, GDP of BRICs in terms of GDP of G6 achieved stable growth rate leading to its increase by 52 %. Besides providing main findings, outcomes of this thesis enable to identify main weaknesses and strengths of BRICs economies affecting the prospects for continuance of stable economic growth.
Impact of Foreign Investments on Unemployment in a Selected Region

Economy of the Czech Republic belongs to successful recipients of foreign direct investments, which bring various positive effects. Most important is job creation by foreign investors and their local subcontractors. Other effects are increase of labor productivity, new technologies and management know-how. Masters thesis describes the issue of foreign direct investments, their effect on unemployment focusing on Louny district.
Role of transnational corporations for the economy and potential of transnationalization of Russian companies

The relevance of the study of this topic is that nowadyas TNC is one of the main structural elements of the economies of most countries, as well as the driving force of its development. To improve the efficiency of the Russian economy and the sustainability of its development is necessary to evaluate the potential of domestic companies and to develop recommendations for the exit to the transnational level. The problem is that methodological universal basis for evaluating the potential of transnationalization companies do not exist. In this regard, the phenomenon of transnational corporations and transnationalization problems require further study. The goal of this study is to develop a methodology to evaluate the potential of transnationalization of Russian companies on the example JSC "Transneft", in other words, the potential of entering to the foreign markets. The object of the study will be transnational corporations, and the subject of research will be Russian companies that have the potential of transnationalization. From the goal arise the following tasks: - to study the phenomenon, the concept and essence of transnational corporations; - to explore the history of the emergence and development of TNCs; - to evaluate the place, role and development tendencies of TNCs in the world economy; - to characterize the sources of effective activities of transnational corporations; - to evaluate key performance indicators TNCs; - to identify the role of TNCs in the economy of Russia; - to learn the specifics of transnationalization of modern Russian companies; - to identify the most important factors in evaluating the potential of transnationalization companies; - to develop a methodology to evaluate the potential of transnationalization companies ; - to develop the recommendations for Russian companies on the example JSC "Transneft" for increasing the potential of transnationalization. The hypothesis of this study is that JSC "Transneft" have the potential to enter to the transnational level and necessary facilities for its implementation.
Impact of changes in crude oil prices on world economy

In theoretical part are written main information about the crude oil. In the first part can be found description of historical facts that influenced the exploitation of crude oil. Also we can find information about where we can find the most important deposits, what affects crude oil prices and on which classes is crude oil devided. Practical part of the bachelor´s thesis is devided into two articles. The first article is analytical, where by statistical and econometric calculations demonstrate the impact of changes in crude oil price on particular states. In the second part I search for changes in the price of crude oil and its impact on the various markers. At the end of practical part is described the current situation on crude oil market in the two last years. At the close of thesis is a list of tables, figures and graphs.
Selected aspects of economic relations between the European Union and the People's Republic of China at the beginning of the 21st century and their real impact on the world economy

The main aim of this dissertation is to analyze selected economic activities and economic relations occurring between the European Union and China. This dissertation is divided into four main chapters to ensure coherence and continuity throughout the research. The first chapter deals with the historical development of mutual cooperation between Europe and China. This chapter emphasizes recent events. The most extensive part of this work, the second section, addresses key areas of cooperation between the EU and China. Most of the research focus is devoted to trade economic relations and investment relations. Further, the second chapter addresses controversial areas within the mutual EU-China relations. In contrast with the second chapter, which looks at the mutual relations from the perspective of the whole EU, the third chapter distinguishes bilateral relations between two EU countries and China. The purpose of the third chapter is therefore to highlight the different approach of individual EU member countries. In the last chapter, I try to assess the growing influence of both the EU and China within the global economy. Finally, I outline the possible future development of the research topic.
Factors of economic impact of Brazil and China in the context of BRICS on the world economy

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the economic impact of Brazil and China in the context of BRICS countries on the world economy. The first chapter sets out the specifics of the BRICS group, with emphasis on Brazil and China. The second chapter analyzes the current economic situation of the two selected states through economic, social, political and technological indicators. In the final chapter, on the basis of the previous analysis identifies the main factors of economic power of Brazil and China, their possible future developments and risks associated with the dynamic development of these countries.
Current Sino-Indian Economic Relations

This thesis analyzes the current economic relations between China and India in the context of their general bilateral relations. Firstly, focuses on the common historical experience of the two countries in their bilateral relations and tries to identify the basic topics that are shaping them. It also deals with the current state of the economies of China and India. This thesis attempts to characterize current and future economic needs of both countries and their implications for the formation of economic relations. The ultimate goal is capturing the very nature of economic relations, prospects of further development and impact on the general bilateral relations.
Natural gas in the world economy with a focus on new trends in the EU

This bachelor thesis deals with natural gas and its importance for the world economy. The thesis focuses on new trends in the EU which mainly relate to shale gas and the transportation of natural gas. The first chapter characterizes generally natural gas, its origin and its way from a reservoir to a consumer. It also analyzes the controversial extraction of shale gas. The second chapter focuses on individual regions and leading countries in production, consumption, export and import of natural gas. It also describes natural gas reserves and transportation and the world's biggest gas companies. The third chapter, which deals with countries of the EU, contains the same subheads as the previous chapter. Moreover, it describes the development of the EU energy policy.
