Retrofit IP-LP Section Steam Turbine 300MW

The aim of this master’s thesis is a retrofit of condensing three case steam turbine K300-170 with reheating. In the first part, the heat balance of the system is calculated for given parameters. The design of the flow section is focused on the combined intermediate pressure and low pressure turbine section and it consists of defining rotor and blading characteristics. In the stress control, the stress of the designed blading is checked and for the conclusion the shaft seal losses and their effect on the overall output power of the turbine are estimated. The drawing of axial section of combined intermediate pressure and low pressure turbine section is also included in the thesis.

Frame design changes with regard to reliability design. The work also includes drawing the proposed changes. This thesis was carried out in cooperation with the firm Liftmont CZ s.r.o.

This bachelor thesis is focused on functional strength calculation of scissor lift mechanism, which serves for transporting loads of a weight 500 kg situated on a pallet. Required lift height is from the first position 0,75 m to the second 2,5 m above the ground. There are mentioned engineering design, calculation of roller conveyor drive, dimension of lifting mechanism and concept of linear hydraulic motor in particular parts of the thesis. Other part of this thesis is drawing documentation.
Design of the supporting frame of lift cage

This thesis is focusted in design of supporting frame of lift cage. Working load of frame is 1000 kg (13 people). Nominal speed is 2,5 m/s. First part is focusted in design of car frame. Car frame is made from steel bent profiles, connected each other with bolts. This work also contains final elemnt analysis of frame. Structure is analyzed by software Autodesk Inventor.

This bachelor’s thesis describes the design of a lift positional table for loads of a weight 750 kg and stroke positional table 1000 mm. At the beginning of the work is a brief analysis of the problems of lift positional tables and choice of design solutions. In addition to addressing the drive tray pallet on the table using the roller track. It addresses the dimensions of the scissor mechanism, its load, stress control and design of the actuator stroke.
