Strength analysis of hydraulic equipment construction

This thesis deals with the strength analysis of two tanks of hydraulic power units using finite element method. Introduction consists of a brief description of these units and description of a current solution. An analysis of force effects and load conditions follows. The next part describes the calculation model and then the calculation results. Based on these results to improve mechanical properties, a proposal is made. The attachment of this thesis is drawing documentation. The thesis was created in cooperation with Bosch Rexroth, spol. s r. o.
Crank mechanism of a four-cylinder in-line gasoline aircraft engine

This thesis is focused on design of a steel connecting rod for the aircraft engine Walter Mikron III C produced by Parma-technik s.r.o., which could be an alternative to the existing aluminium alloy connecting rod. Research of aircraft engines and connecting rods is done before the design work itself, together with explanation of the calculation of dynamic stresses in the crank mechanism. In practical part, design of the crank mechanism is analysed, followed by the calculation of its dynamic stresses, analytically and by 1D simulation in the GT-Suite Cranktrain software. Connecting rod strength analysis is performed by analytical calculation, which is verified by FEM analysis in Ansys Mechanical software, both approaches evaluating connecting rod tension and fatigue safety. Similarly, the steel connecting rod is designed and evaluated in two designs, with an I and H shank. Drawing documentation of both designs of the connecting rod is output of this thesis.
Reversible mounted plough

This diploma thesis deals with the conceptual design of a reversible mounted plough. The plough is designed for aggregation with tractors with a three-point hitch category 2N/2. A search was made for similar devices corresponding to the performance range and other construction solutions of ploughs for ploughing agricultural land. The concept is designed and based on analytical calculations of dimensional and functional properties. Strength calculations are made according to the standard. The critical points of the equipment are checked by the finite element method. The thesis includes a kinematic diagram of setting up the device, pictures of 3D models of plough and drawing documentation.

The master thesis deals with the design of a slope shovel. The literature part of the thesis deals with the classification of excavators according to size, type of chassis, and type of boom. Subsequently, an overview of working tools and a description of their purpose is given. The aim of the thesis is to design a slope shovel, therefore the thesis mentions the program in which the shovel will be designed. The following part of the thesis is devoted to the determination of the parameters that the design should meet. In the main part of the thesis a description of the different parts of the model and the procedure for their manufacture is given. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the development of the strength analysis of the model and the financial evaluation of the shovel design.

This diploma thesis is concerned with a construction design of single toggle jaw crusher DCJ 900x500. In the first part, the theoretical background and ways of material disintegration are discussed. The second chapter describes types of material crushers in general, especially jaw crushers and their parts. The third chapter is concerned with calculations and the design of the most important parts of the machine. The fourth part consists of the crusher power calculation, design of the pendulum and its production technology. The last part includes the result of FEM analysis for the particular variant of pendulum production. The thesis also includes drawing documentation of the crusher and the pendulum.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a movable lift for passenger cars. Now we have a great deal of lifts for cars, so the research part focused on their basic division. The main parts of the work include the design of a movable lift, which is then subjected to strength calculations. After these calculations, it can be stated that the designed lift is suitable in terms of safety. The outputs of this work include drawing documentation of the assembly and selected components of the lift.
Design of Data Acquisition Equipment IMC Fastening System in the Car

Devices for measuring the dynamic load and vibration of certain parts of the bodywork or parts of other parts of the vehicle are made using accelerometers and measuring instruments IMC. It must be simply installed into the interior of the vehicle so that it is not necessary to remove any parts of the interior and to avoid damage to all parts of the interior. The preparation must also withstand the considerable dynamic load generated by the harder operation tests.
Wood-splitting machine

The master thesis done within the master study programme Transport vehicles and handing machinery presents a design of a wood splitting machine. The first part of the thesis is a literary review focused on current state in the field of wood splitting machines and on the overview of the most common wood species including their technical parameters. In the second part of the thesis, suitable machine components were chosen for the conceptual design of the wood splitter, taking into account predefined parameters. Then a machine frame was designed and its strength was verified by analytical and FEM method. Finally, drawing documentation for the machine, machine frame and splitting tool was created.
Semi-trailer for a vehicle transport

The aim of the diploma thesis is the construction design of a semi – trailer for the purpose of road – based vehicle transportation. The construction design is complaint to the applicable legislative requirements for the corresponding trailer category. The main part of the thesis focuses on strength analysis of a semi – trailer frame using finite element method. Based on strength analysis of the semi – trailer frame, the original frame is adjusted and further optimized through subsequent analyses. The thesis additionally contains the drawing documentation.
