Design of an Automatic Trading System For Forex Trading
Poláchová, Zuzana ; MBA, Libor Stoklásek, (referee) ; Budík, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of automated trading system for trading the currency market. On the basis of technical indicators is created a trading system in MQL4 for the MetaTrader4 platform. Part of the thesis is optimization of the proposed system and testing on historical data in order to increase stability and maximize profit.
L-Systems and Their Applications in Computer Graphics
Sojma, Zdeněk ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis describes deterministic context-free L-systems (D0L-systems), which function is parallel rewriting symbols in string for purpose of modeling plant-like structures, mainly plant leaves. Next it shows how to use such L-systems in computer graphics and explains usage of stochastic L-systems. They effect topology and geometry of plant by randomizing interpretation of the L-system and allow us to generate whole class of respectively different but still simile leaves. L-system interpreter is implemented in .NET framework with OpenGL library.
Inventory Management System
Reif, Luděk ; Klapka, Jindřich (referee) ; Šeda, Miloš (advisor)
My thesis involves in characteristics and implementation of inventory management system. Theoretical part contains particular systems, both deterministic and stochastic. Several examples are used for implementation, which are then algorithmized. Trivial equations are used in deterministic systems. In stochastic systems I used an element of randomness, which is simulated by pseudo random number generator. The result is a complex computer program, in which there is possible to evaluate all models mentioned here, with their own input values. The program then yields both numerical values and graphical output.
Bayesian Networks Applications
Chaloupka, David ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with possible applications of Bayesian networks. The theoretical part is mainly of mathematical nature. At first, we focus on general probability theory and later we move on to the theory of Bayesian networks and discuss approaches to inference and to model learning while providing explanations of pros and cons of these techniques. The practical part focuses on applications that demand learning a Bayesian network, both in terms of network parameters as well as structure. These applications include general benchmarks, usage of Bayesian networks for knowledge discovery regarding the causes of criminality and exploration of the possibility of using a Bayesian network as a spam filter.
Gathering and processing of access point data
Kislinger, Jan ; Szőcs, Juraj (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
This work deals with gathering and processing of access point data. At the beginning, we introduce the SNMP protocol and MIB databases. Additionally, there is ways to gather data. The next section describes data processing. First, using moving averages and candelstick chart, then calculate the predicted values. Finally, it describes a program that gather data and draws them into the charts.
Measurement of network traffic at access point
Novák, Ondřej ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on the issue of measurement of parameters of network traffic of wired and wireless networks. The first part theoretically describes SNMP protocol and application interface API, that form the basis for acquiring and evaluating data. The next section describes known MIKROTIK platform and software solutions for the alternative possibility of implementing a new feature. The last part closely describes the created application. It is a simple information system, whose task is to get information and evaluate it using the known functions. The conclusion of the work is a few tests of this application, assessing the real operation.
