Laboratory device with temperature control
Telecký, Jakub ; Škrabánek, Pavel (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with regulation and procedures that can be used for this. The theoretical part therefore presents the basic concepts of automation and controllers. The main part is the practical part. The purchased system consists of a regulated system, which must be set up correctly. Using system identification and known procedures, sample examples of how to best set the controller are compiled. The result is a sample laboratory task that automation students can try and gain experience with methods of setting up the controller.
Aircraft Flight Controls Actuator - Modeling and Control
Kolář, Bohumil ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compile and control the actuator model, which approximates the behavior of a real actuator under load. The work describes individual types of actuators and their properties. The mathematical model of the actuator is also described. This model consists of a motor and a load. The mathematical model is applied in the Simulink environment where a control structure was designed and added. The work also describes the construction of the real actuator and its subsequent testing in the ControlDesk. The results of the individual test are in the form of step responses.
Analysis of frequency and transient properties of non-integer order filters
Cieslar, Šimon ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with analysis of frequency and transient properties of noninteger ( + )-order filters. These filters allow the use of a lower order, compared to the next higher integer-order ( + 1). For example, a system should be created, but a second order would not be sufficient, and in case of the integer-order, a third order system would be considered, but in the case of using a non-integer-order, a fractal-order between them can be used. In the following documentation, attention is paid to the defined group of fractal-order transfer functions, which approximate the identical course of the modulus characteristic according to Butterworth. The form of the function of the linear systems was not taken into account and characteristics such as phase response, group delay, step response and stability were analyzed and evaluated. All for the system ( + )-order, where 3, 4, variable Z1, 4 for (3 + )-order, variable Z1, 5 for (4 + )-order, and (0, 1). Non-integer systems offer a infinite number of orders, making them sometimes more advantageous in a step response or group delay. They can also provide an additional degree of freedom in designing a filter to fine-tune the slope of the amplitude characteristic in the bandwidth. The bachelor thesis deals with non-integer orders and their use in the case of required properties. For easier selection of the correct non-integer order with respect to the required properties, a design recommendation was written within the bachelor’s thesis.
Dynamics of heating surfaces and radiators including control valves
Bartusek, Jiří ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is theoretically described heating surfaces, radiators and regulation valves. There are also described their features, advantages and disadvantages and division according to design. The aim of the work is determine the dynamics characteristics of heating surfaces and radiators including control valves, which are parts of measurement panel. Based on the measurement are determined appropriate characteristics of which are calculated values for regulating. The result of this study can serve as a guide to the practical measurement method of dynamics characteristics of the real-working heating systems, or serve as a template for the settings according to the measured data.
Mathematical model of test facility for study critical heat flux
Bartůněk, David ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (referee) ; Suk, Ladislav (advisor)
In the first part, the bachelor thesis is focused on the description of test facility used for studying critical heat flux and for visualizing two-phase flow in the vertical canal. In the next part, there are the basic mathematical methods that are used for solving transient behavior of real devices. The last practical part of the thesis deals with applying of preceding methods to the preheater as part of the experimental loop and creating mathematical model of this device.
Control Systems
Vala, Jiří ; Konvalina, Jiří (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
The MSc Thesis deals with real-time modelling, especially with the control circuits, where we focus on the regulation circuit with auxiliary model of the regulated system. The introduction contains the Theory of Controls and regulation. The work is divided into two basic parts. The first part deals with the problems from the theoretical point of view. The theoretical part is concerned with the general systems. Various definitions of systems, their partition and mathematical methods for their description are mentioned after introducing. A description the regulation circuits, their partition, structures and types follows. There are shown the particular regulators and different types of regulated systems in details. Mathematical methods applied to solve the differential equations that describe the models of the systems are summarized in the second part of the work. The end of this chapter is concerned with the TKSL system. In the practical part I have produced Microsoft Power Point program which summarizes the results of experiments, made in the TKSL and TKSL/C system. The output of simulation was transformed into the graphs in the format of Microsoft Excel. The last part deals with suggestion and implementation simulators of control circuits.
