Analysis of Selected Indicators of ZŠ Husova Using Time Series

The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the situation of ZŠ Husova by analysis of selected indicators. For the analysis, I selected indicators for the years 2007–2013, the time series was analyzed and then balanced (trend searching by using regression analysis). Based on the analysis results, it was found that the school is in a relatively healthy financial situation, but it is not very good at managing its assets and therefore the system was designed to improve the situation.

This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the economic activities of the state-funded institution, from the cultural area, namely the theatre called Horácké divadlo Jihlava. The work is divided into three parts. The first part describes a theoretical knowledge, the second one acquaints with the current organization’s situation. At the end, the work incorporates recommendations for a cost optimization and a financial situation improvement compiled on the basis of the previous analysis of the public sector organization.

Optimization of the purchasing process in a selected organization

The diploma thesis deals with the purchase process, especially the purchase of fuel, in a selected contributory organization. The work uses the methods BPMN process diagrams, financial analysis, descriptions and comparisons and multi-criteria analysis, which uses the scoring method, weighted sum method (WSA) and TOPSIS method. Primary and secondary data were used for the work. Primary data were obtained from interviews with responsible employees and deputies, internal SOFT-PC program, Altus portal, internal analyzes of the sales department, internal data sent by XY, the organization's public procurement system and negotiations with AD representing the stock exchange organization on the Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange. . Secondary data came from the web portal of the Vysočina Region and the Regional Administration and Maintenance of Vysočina Roads, p.o. Weaknesses were found in the internal regulation concerning the area of purchase, Directive 34/2010 on the circulation of accounting documents, in the potential theft or manipulation of the amount of diesel fuel in the banks. It was also found that the purchase of diesel through the CMKB is more expensive, more administratively demanding and longer. Finally, the organization was recommended to correct individual deficiencies, and above all, a multi-criteria analysis was performed when selecting a supplier for the purchase of fuel.

Grants - Funding Instrument in a Non-profit Organization

This thesis analyses the method of financing in the state-funded institution. The theoretical part is focused on the legislation, typical features, classification and types of non-profit organizations. It deals with the principles of financing methods, their forms and tools of non-profit organizations. The practical part analyses the chosen non-profit organization, namely state-funded institution Primary School and Kindergarten Kácov in district Kutna Hora. Furthermore, this part analyses various sources of funnding that the organization uses. They are non-investment expenditures of Central Bohemia Regional Office, operational contribution of the founder of the township Kácov, natural and legal persons´contracts of gift, EU subsidies and additional activities. At the end the table no. 1 compares all financed sources of the analysis and subsequently there is a graphical image of each financed resources. The profit has been assessed for tax purposes based on the specific process of tax return of legal persons in the monitored organization in the year 2015.

The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part defines basic concepts and the legislative framework related to the provision of social services. Further the attention is paid to providers of social services and the issues of financing of social services. The practical part characterizes the selected subject providing of nursing servises and is also focused on its economic analysis.
