Vaňo, Peter ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create an information system for organizers of sailboat races. The system is created as a web application with PWA in Java and TypeScript using the Spring and Angular frameworks. The main function of the system is the management of races and the registration of participants. The system also includes support for placing the race course and navigation to buoys afterward. During the work, importance was placed on expandability, reuse, and simplicity.
Development of a user interface for the needs of management and registration when stopping vehicles
Kuric, Christian ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Šeda, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the development of a web application for the management of records of stopped vehicles in road traffic. The server side je implemented in Java and uses the Spring framework to process logic and communicate with the PostgreSQL database. The client side is implemented using Next.js, which is built on React and TypeScript. The application enables efficient manipulation and management of vehicle records, users, receive messages via mqtt protocol and work with them.
Determination of anions in water of forest springs using ion chromatography
Kouřilová, Soňa ; Komendová, Renata (referee) ; Alexa, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the determination of anions in water from forest springs by ion chromatography. The aim of the study was the analysis of common anions contained in spring waters that may affect the quality of drinking water. The ion chromatography method was used to separate and quantify the anions. The work involves the collection of samples from 25 forest springs in the surroundings of Brno. The sampling was carried out in spring and autumn campaigns (from 30 May to 13 June 2023 and from 26 September to 11 October 2023). The theoretical part contains information on analytical methods with application in determination of anions in waters. In the experimental part, results and discussion are presented providing important information on the chemical composition of the water in targeted springs. The results can serve as a basis for protection and monitoring of drinking water in forest environments.
Tool design for production of springs for an organ
Svoboda, Jakub ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on a design for a machined bending fixture to enable the production of valve springs for organs. The reason for choosing this topic was the need to perfect the existing process of making organ springs. The main problem with the original fixture was the poor quality of the spring thread. Valve springs have varying properties and parameters that determine the requirements for the fixture. A 3D model of the complete fixture was created based on the author’s ideas and these requirements. Calculations were then made for a spring of specific dimensions. These calculations showed that the proposed size of the crank is adequate to enable it to be turned by the human hand. A force of 28 N is required at the end of the crank arm to exert the bending torque required to properly thread the spring. This figure is lower than the tabular values for the general European working population. This implies that the crank arm has the designed proportional length. To calculate the same specific spring and verify the function of the fixture, software simulation was also used. When creating the model, in addition to the calculations and simulation, an experiment was also conducted to verify the function and the main idea of the fixture, which is to bend with additional tensile stress. The result of the experiment was a spring that was subsequently compared with a spring produced using the original fixture. The marked difference in the appearance of the thread proved that the author’s idea was correct. The entire fixture and its components are described in detail in the thesis. The comprehensive design of the fixture in the form of a 3D model is prepared for consultation in an organ-making workshop and then for use in production.
Application for Exam Preparation
Líbal, Tomáš ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of preparation of final exams at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. It describes the process of design and implementation of a web application that allows teachers to create and manage room schemes and terms of individual exams. An important part of the application is also the automatic placement of students in the rooms and the generation of individual exam assignments for printing based on the given template and the method of placement. The application provides students with a clear view of individual exam terms and details about them. The work will result in a functional and usable web application written in Java using the Spring and Angular frameworks.
Web application on elliptic curve cryptography
Štark, Daniel ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Ricci, Sara (advisor)
Konkrétně se jedná o grupy, konečná tělesa, eliptické křivky a matematické principy dvou známých a hojně používaných protokolů -- ECDH a ECDSA. Druhá kapitola se zabývá popisem nástrojů, které byly použity k implementaci uživatelsky přívětivé webové aplikace, umožňující simulaci jak základních operací na eliptické křivce, tak i dvou výše zmíněných protokolů. Stěžejními nástroji, představenými v této kapitole, jsou matematický systém SageMath a framework Spring, určený k tvorbě webových aplikací v jazyce Java. Třetí kapitola této práce popisuje jak byly představené nástroje použity, tedy samotnou implementaci webové aplikace.
Springing and Damping of Truck Cabin
Kroupa, Ondřej ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This Diploma Theses, which can be included in the field of vehicle dynamics, explores the effect of suspension and damping of truck cabs for the safe ride and comfort. As the driver spends many hours in their vehicle, comfort is the most essential criterion. That is why we seek possible improvements which are offered by the sprung cab. The research part firstly analyses the individual elements of suspension and damping. The following chapter is devoted to the systems which are used nowadays in the construction of cabin suspension. Next there is the introduction to the theoretical production of a simplified computational model as well as the presentation of the possible evaluation of the achieved results. The following practical part deals with the actual shaping of the computational model in the Adams View software, which is based on a real vehicle, and was lent at the faculty. The model is then verified and compared with the existing state and the cab mounting concepts are tested on it. The effects of cab parameters on driving comfort and safe riding were tested on it as well. The last part focuses on the forming of the special Dakar computational model, on which optimization was performed according to the findings discussed in the previous chapter. Also, the appropriate configurations to the real-life testing were designed.
Comparison of Technologies for Object-Relational Mapping
Fatrdla, Pavel ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the contemporary object-relational mapping (ORM) technologies for Java. It briefly describes also competing technologies for persisting objects in files, object and object-relational databases. However main part of the thesis is the persistence of objects in relational databases using ORM frameworks. The work begins with studying general methods and issues, that these frameworks have to solve. Next, it chooses and deeply describes some ORM frameworks. They are later demonstrated on the demo application. In the following part there is a description of the problems I have been facing during the implementation of the persistence using these frameworks. Finally, there is an evaluation and a comparison of these frameworks.
Deriving and Application of Analytical Design of Hammerspring in Firearms
Vobejda, Radek ; Polzer, Stanislav (referee) ; Slažanský, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with inference of analytic relations for calculation of pressure helical coil spring and considerates usage possibilities of simplified relations. In the thesis there is introduced analytic computation of slightly curvatured rod theory completed by finite element method calculations. The thesis describes two springs of firearm, which weren’t able to achieve required functionality. After this there was created a plan of concept particular spring on the base of derivated relations, which should be able to meet operative conditions.
