The assessment of existing industry hall structure
Hamrlík, Martin ; Chalabala, Jiří (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on an assessment of existing industry hall structure of a rectangular floor plan. The supporting system design consists of a precast reinforced concrete skeleton. The aim of this work is to determine the structure of the expected loading of a new crane runway. The subjects of assesment are columns, girder of crane runway, short corbel and concrete foot. In other part of the project is designed reinforcement nonconforming elements. The work includes the development od structural analysis, drawing of hall structure and reinforcement drawings of reconstructed elements.
Architectural and technological project of a residential building in Brno
Malaník, Jan ; Kopecký, Lukáš (referee) ; Novotný, Michal (advisor)
The thesis contains analysis earthworks, foundations, carcass substructure of residential house on the street Kopečná 9 in Brno. The work also includes gradual changes in site equipment, detailed schedule of work for selected works, rough schedule of the whole building, construction budget, site equipment budget and details of construction. Specialization in the work addresses the specific use of roads and traffic signs.
The underground garage in Brno-City
Nováková, Zuzana ; Rupp, David (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the design of the underground garage in the centre of Brno under the Petrov hill. The main target of the thesis is to design spatial arrangement of the underground space and its feasibility study. In the following parts the design of the structural solution and its check calculation is carried out.
Effect of active ingredients to the activity of cementing compound with non-alkaline accelerator additive for sprayed concrete.
Závacký, Jakub ; Hela,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problems of the sprayed concrete with the focus on usage of the active ingredients with non-alkaline accelerator additive. The theoretical part covers the current level of knowledge of how the active ingredients are used in the sprayed concrete and their influence on the process of hydration. In the experimental part the reactivity of cementing compound with non-alkaline accelerator on the basis of aluminium sulphate were compared in a laboratory when the active ingredients (such as slag, fly-ash and very fine limestone) were used. The cements CEM I 42,5 R, made by different producers were verified on the basis of the setting time and early strength gain using the Vicat needle to examine the mechanical properties after 6 and 24 hours.
Analysis of factors influencing internal forces in primary tunnel lining and its design
Rozmánek, Filip ; Rychtecký, Josef (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
This thesis deals with the mathematical modelling of the primary lining of a tunnel which finds itself in overconsolidated neogenic clay. This type of construction is typically solved by a combination of linear-elastic beams representing sprayed concrete and a linear elastic – perfectly plastic soil material model. Both of these approaches are a simplification of the behaviour of both sprayed concrete and soil. The real behaviour of concrete is nonlinear and time-dependent when it comes to stiffness and strength. In praxis, this issue is solved by implementing phases of young and cured concrete. The real behaviour of soils is, on the other hand, influenced by hardening. The main goal of this thesis is to use an advanced time-dependent elastoplastic material model (The Concrete model) to create shotcrete lining for the Dřevnovice tunnel, built by the Kernbauweise method. A nonlinear hyperbolic soil material model (The Hardening Soil model) is applied to the neogenic clay environment. Various modelling approaches are used to obtain internal forces and deformations of tunnel lining. These approaches are then graphically compared. The last part of this thesis focuses on verifying the primary lining design of a railway tunnel in central Moravia.
Implementation of the SCL method for tunnel construction
Slezáková, Pavlína ; Dragoun, František (advisor) ; Uhrin, Michal (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis is a summary of recent knowledge about the tunneling method Sprayed Concrete Lining. The first part of the thesis is focused on the origins of sprayed concrete, on the history of the SCL method and its connection to the NRTM method. Essential parts of this thesis include the principles of excavation using the SCL method, the excavation process and the requirements, such as construction monitoring. Additionally, there is an overview of shotcrete material; both, what the mixture is composed of and what geotechnical parameters, usually, limit the application of this method. The second part of the thesis presents mechanical parameters of clay rocks, and also includes a summary of the possibilities of using the SCL method in the Czech Republic, with a specific example of a planned project.
