Management of sports clubs

This bachelor thesis on the topic of " Management of sports clubs" focuses on the management of two specific handball clubs, DKH Slavoj Žirovnice and Házená Jindřichův Hradec. The aim of this work is to evaluate the management of the two mentioned clubs and to propose recommendations for improving their current state. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the definition and clarification of basic concepts in the field of management, sports management, specifics of non-profit organizations, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sports industry. The practical part focuses on the characterization and analysis of the current state of both clubs through a questionnaire survey for the club players and structured interviews with the club management. Based on the methods used, recommendations are formulated for both clubs, which, if implemented and introduced, can lead to improvements in the functioning of both clubs. The thesis also compares the two clubs, using the bench-marking method for comparison.

Title: Volleyball club Aero Odolena Voda marketing mix analysis Targets: To perform an overall evaluation of the current Aero Odolena Voda marketing mix, using SWOT analysis bring strenghts and weaknesses to light. Based on this analysis suggest possible modification that would lead to a better marketing mix. Methods: Using qualitative methods such as interview, alongside with quantitative methods such as questioning, SWOT analysis and using secundary dates. Results: The specific modifications of individual parts of marketing mix will be suggested. These changes should lead to overal marketing mix improvement. These suggestions will be offered to club's leadership, that will decide how to dispose of it. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to create a management project of sports event which could serve to organizers and set up recommendations for organizers of sports event AUTHOR král Šumavy MTB. The aim is to analyse the event by means of SWOT analysis and create suggestions to improve the whole organization of this sports event for further tournaments. In conclusion I reviewed whether or not the objectives were achieved and summarized the most important results of the performed methods.

Title: Management of sport's event Jihlavská 24 MTB Objective: The aim of this work, mainly based on the analysis of the event Jihlavská 24 MTB 2013, is to introduce running of twenty-four-hour event type. With selected methods will be developed project proposal for organization of the event in 2014, which will be focused on the proposed changes. Methods: document analysis, semi-structured interview with a member of the organizing team, electronic and written questionnaire to competitors, written questionnaire for the audience, SWOT analysis Results: The event is evaluated as well organizationally managed. The main strengths of this race are its attractiveness, nice background and support of the Jihlava city and the Vysočina region. Title: Youth sports activities research in Ústí nad Orlicí Objecvive: The aim of study is to measure of usage of sports facilities by youth in Ústí nad Orlicí and their satisfaction with them. Subsequent interpretations of youth interests in sports. Methods: At theoretical part synthesis method will be used. The research itself will be based on quantitative method - interviewing. Respondents will be students of second grade of elementary schools and high schools in Ústí nad Orlicí. Results: A statistically processed results will be displayed using graphs and tables. Finally we can say city of Ústí nad Orlicí is a sports town because most of the children enjoy visiting sports facilities even during their leisure time. Specific Attributes of the Czech National Football A-Team

The aim of this thesis is to analyze specific attributes and contemporary practice in managing of the Czech National Football A-Team and define a scope for its improvement by using general principles of management. It describes basic general terms of management and in details elaborates on the management of the Czech Football A-Team. It is also focused on main management functions and their practical use with the National A-Team. A significant part of the text describes and analyzes the general management principles such as decision-making, planning, organizing and supervision and their application in the control activities of the Czech National Team. At the end of this thesis the specific attributes of the management of the National Football A-Team of the Czech Republic are listed and measures and suggestions how to improve the management process are proposed.
