Multimedia language support of DSP in German
Škůrek, Pavel ; Vídenka, Rostislav (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the work is to provide a German speaking student with a simple and well-arranged list of terms, that appear in the sphere of mathematics, physics and the digital signal processing. Each terms are not explained in a difficult way. Mostly, there is only the basic definition, what the term means, or his function. This mean that this work can´t be taken as a textbook, but only a first aid for a funbling student. The work id divided into 3 databases. The first database Mathematik contains the list of all mathematical terms and relations at the level of secondary school. The database contains these chapters: Grundbegriffe, Mathematische Logik, Funktion, Trigonometrie des rechtwinkligen Dreiecks, kongruennte Darstellung im Ebene, ähnliche Darstellung im Ebene, Trigonometrie, komplexen Zahlen, Logarithmus, Vektor, analytische Geometrie, Folge, Differenzrechnung und Integralgleichung, Matrizen, Determinante, Kombinatorik a Wahrscheinlichkeit. The second database Physik contains the basic physical quantities, the student should know before entering the university. The database contains these chapters: Kinematik, Dynamik, Mechanik der starken Körper, Mechanik der Flüssigkeit, Elektizität, Magnetismus, Optik and Thermodynamik. The last database DSP is divided into 4 parts. It is divided by functionals blocks of each transmission and it is explaining each terms. They are Antialiasing, Analog-digital Wandler, Digital-analog Wandler and Spektral analysis. By this database, there is well-arranged czech - german and german - czech dictionary. These 3 databases are worked by the programm C++ Builder. The user can open each databese separately. All databases contain functions like for example searching, viewing the terms by tree structure, similar themes and so on. In the last database the user can add and change his own terms.
DC arc extinguishing in low voltage switching devices for critical currents
Fencl, Martin ; Šimek, David (referee) ; Píška, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with DC arc extinguishing for critical currents. The first, theoretical part describes and defines an arc, a DC arc and methods of its extinguishing. The second, theoretical part concerns spectral analysis – specifically, the emission method. Methods of research of extinguishing critical currents are also presented. The practical part consists of two measurements. The first measurement consists of spectrum measuring in time, in conjunction with voltage and current measurements. In the second measurement, the goal was to measure the dependence of arc burning time on voltage and current. The thesis concludes with summary of the results of each individual measurement and their presentation in the wider context.
Dynamic analysis of structure loaded seismic loads
Janošková, Lenka ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
In this diploma thesis the seismic load on two different models is solved – the first model is a beam hall and the second model is a multistory building. The calculation of seismic load was performed according to standard ČSN EN 1998-1 (Eurocode 8) using the response spectrum analysis and the method of equivalent static forces (substi-tute load). For the combination of seismic responses in different directions are used SRSS and CQC rules. Models and calculations were solved in a student’s version of program RFEM 4.10 (Ing. Software Dlubal, s.r.o.). The comparison of mentioned methods in each models, also the comparison of combinative rules in calculation and the final evaluation of seismic responses on both of models are the subject of this thesis.
Spectral analysis of flute organ whistles and their comparison
Sommer, Tomáš ; Michálková Slimáčková, Jana (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work is focused on the problems of spectral analysis of flutes stops in organ pipes. The first part of this work is about terminology of organ pipes. This theoretical part is also focused on the problem of harmonic analysis with the use of mathematical signal processing methods, which allows this analysis. The second part of this work deals with measuring methods of specific organs and acquiring sound samples and their evaluation and spectrum description.
Analysis of Time-Varying Spectrum of Pianos
Smělý, Pavel ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work focuses on an analysis of a time-varying spectrum of pianos. The beginning of the work deals with the gradual evolution of the piano, aiming at timbre and design, and it analyzes in detail its individual parts and their influence on the sound spectrum. The theoretical part also concentrates on the issue of harmonic analysis in both the musical conception of timber and the usage of mathematical signal processing methods that make this analysis possible. Another part deals with practical tasks of the work such as a description of an application and functions created in the interface of MATLAB for exploring the time-varying spectrum of tones, description of the method and procedure of the measuring of three concert grand pianos. The work also analyzes, by supporting it with practical examples and by comparing the measured pianos, the most important acoustic phenomena that originate from the production of tones in the instrument; it describes the timber of individual instruments, and it gives recommendations.
The tri-band fluorescent reader
Škrabalová, Denisa ; Čolláková, Jana (referee) ; Dostál, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of laboratory testing and design of an optical instrument called a tri-band fluorescent reader, which is designed for fluorophores Alexa Fluor 488, Alexa Fluor 555 and Alexa Fluor 647. It contains a theoretical part with key knowledge not only in the natural sciences, such as physics, chemistry, biology, but also the current technical capabilities that are necessary for the practical part. In the practical part is drafting the objectives of the thesis, which are the measurement and evaluation of the samples examined using a monochromator, acquisition and evaluation of images using the existing system, build spectral analysis throughput, create a simulation of custom solutions and create a system engineering design. The mechanical model of the reader assembly was made after measuring the samples and the device and creating the simulation.
Music based electronic light effect
Grygar, Josef ; Staněk, Miroslav (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This work is focused on music baset light effect, it´s principles and possibilities of realization. Music based light effect can affect our perception of reproduced music. This work include design and realization of spectral analyzer, anti-aliasing filter and output power parts. Spectral analyzer uses Fast Fourier transform (FFT) to count resulting spectrum, which is displayed on LED bargrafs. In the theoretical part the priciples of analog to digital conversion are closer described. According to this information, selection of suitable microcontroller is discused.
Analysis and comparison of spectra in different piano models
Peloušek, Tomáš ; Přikryl, Lubor (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work focuses on the topic of analysis of the time varying spektrum of the piano. The introduction deals with the historical development of the piano, of its individual parts and the way they influence the tone colour. The subsequent theoretical part is focused mainly on the topic of spectral analysis in the musical concept of sound colours. In the following part a measuring of particular musical instruments is described, these experiments being conducted in an anechoic chamber provided by the instrument producer. It also lists the various methods and calculations used in the process and the conclusion presents analysis of acquired samples.
