Hák, Tomáš ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Hojka, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Short-term intervention in the development of speed in football Objectives: The work objective is to assess efficiency of speed intervention at categories of Under-13 and Under-14 of the football club FK Pardubice. Methods: The group observed contained players aged 13 and 14. Total number of players was 23 (n= 23, 13,2 ±0,3 year). In order to verify the efficiency of the interventional program, which took 6 weeks, a 20 m shuttle run, a change-direction run with and without ball were used. The data were gathered with 2010 programme and processed according to Statistica statistical programme. Results: After 6 weeks of a motion intervention the experimental group did not show any significant progress. The group not involved in the motion programme did not make any progress. In rare cases, even a slight deterioration occurred in both groups. Based on results stated below we declare that the program chosen was not efficient for speed development at the categories of U13 and U14 of the club of FK Pardubice. Keywords: football, academy, motion intervention, speed
Fitness training in basketball
Martínková, Anna ; Velenský, Michael (advisor) ; Kaprálek, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Fitness training in basketball Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to summarize and organize the knowledge about fitness training of basketball players and furthermore to classify the development of individual fitness abilities within the yearly training cycle. Methods: This work is done in the form of a literature review using the method of relevant literature sources analysis. Results: This thesis deals with aspects of fitness preparation, where basketball players focus themselves on the development of speed-force abilities, which are decisive for the performance of players. A chapter concerning the need for individualization of trainings is included for the scope of increasing fitness effectiveness preparation. To prevent injury, there is an important part about warming up and regeneration of basketball players. Keywords: fitness training, basketball, power, speed, endurance, coordination, flexibity
The effect of a short-term intervention program for development of sprint abilities in young soccer players (U15)
Chaloupka, Tomáš ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Frýbort, Pavel (referee)
Title: The effect of a short-term intervention program for development of sprint abilities in young soccer players (U15) Autor: Tomá Chaloupka Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kok tejn, Ph.D. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to verify the effectiveness of a short-term intervention program for sprint speed development in young soccer players (U15). Methods: The research sample included soccer players (15 year old; n=12; 14,2±0,3 years) from the highest competitive level in the Czech Republic. For the interventional effect verification we used several sprint tests (sprint on 5, 10 and 30 meters, shuttle sprint 2x10 meters). Data analysis was performed by using IBM SPSS software version 22. Results: In the experimental group we did not found any significant improvement in the posttest in any individual tests after completion of the short-term speed-oriented intervention. Based on our results we note that we have failed to verify the effectiveness of the short-term intervention program for the sprint development in the young soccer players. Development of war image transmission
Medková, Magdaléna ; Láb, Filip (advisor) ; Teplá, Jana (referee)
This thesis attempts to answer how the technological development has influenced the speed of photo transmission and in this context to describe the shift from original model of communication (one - to - many) to the model of new media (many-to-many), which combines interpersonal (one to one) and mass communication. Selected parameters of fitness assesment of elite young soccer players
Bláža, Lukáš ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Buzek, Mario (referee)
Title: Selected parameters of fitness assesment of elite young soccer players Objectives: This work identifies selected parameters of the fitness readiness of young elite soccer players. Additionally, we describe terrain motor tests focusing on the metrics of speed, dexterity, and agility, amongst others. Finally, we describe the results of the tests and analyze the speed capabilities and individual indicators by using the motor terrain tests. Methods: Subjects were studied using field testing specific to soccer. Participants were elite soccer players under 16 years old who were in the national selection. The subjects attended a measurement at national level with artificial grass, the standard playing conditions. We investigated the speed capabilities of each player, followed by a statistical evaluation of the results using computer programs. Results: The individuals tested showed very good condition parameters, forming a homogeneous assemblage. An analysis of the players' motor test performances determined their speed abilities. It was found that at single speeds in various sections of a run, which the players achieve during a twenty meter run, the curve of acceleration rises and plateaus as they start to maintain their speed. Keywords: football, youth, tests, speed, agility
Fitness training in squash
Cerman, Jaroslav ; Süss, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
 Title: Fitness training in squash.  Purposes: Find out the best Czech squash players focus on fitness training. Propose the inclusion of fitness training in the annual training cycle.  Methods: Interview, survey.  Results: Most of the best 200 players by ranking include fitness training into their training process. Fitness training directly affects the squash performance and the position in the ranking as well.  Key words: squash, training, fitness training, speed, power, endurance, coordination, flexibility.
Strength as a determinant of kick speed of young soccer players.
Ižovská, Jana ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Zahálka, František (referee)
Title: Strength as a determinant of kick speed of young soccer players. Objectives: Identify the relationship of strength of extensors and flexors of knee and the kick speed and accuracy of young soccer players. Methods: The study group consists of 20 players in the age between 20-25 years (22,45±1,12 years) league level engaged in the provision of an elite soccer club. The players passed the tests of strength abilities week before field testing of kick speed and accuracy. Strength extensors and flexors of knee were measured in laboratory conditions at three different stages of the angular velocity of the dominant and nondominant lower leg. After week the players completed three shots on goal by preferred and non-preferred leg, where we measured the speed and accuracy of kick. Results: The results of work submit information about relationship between the strength of extensors and flexors of knee and the kick speed and accuracy depending on the degree of angular velocity. It has been found moderate - strong correlation between conditionings depending on the different degrees of angular speed of the movement. Keywords: accuracy, kick, skill, soccer, speed, strength

Novák, Eduard ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Buzek, Mario (referee)
Title: Youth Sports Preparation Issues Objectives: The objective of the diploma thesis is to find out the intervention programme effectiveness using specific and semi-specific character exercises in relation to the enhancement of fitness training pre-conditions of the young football players belonging to the U 16 category. Methods: A group of players, who were subjected to testing, consisted of 12 players of younger junior category at the age of 16 years (year of birth 1997) who are playing younger junior league. This group was involved in a two-month process of intervention. The exercises were applied every day in both months during the main contest period. Before joining the intervention, players were subjected to entry tests, then, a two-month training cycle began. After that, the players underwent final tests which were exactly the same as the entry tests. Results: The section of the diploma thesis bringing tangible results involves their evaluation which is available in the submitted protocols. Final results are presented in a well arrange way in the form of charts and graphs followed by their evaluation. Conclusion: Direct influence on the speed and coordination abilities using specific and semi- specific exercises is an important constituent part of training units in any football match namely because...

Hlavová, Vendula ; Petrás, Jan (referee) ; Tokař, Stanislav (advisor)
The comfort perceived by passengers during transport in public transport plays a vital role, and its improvement can lead to attracting more customers. For this reason, there is a constant effort to improve the comfort of the passenger. This thesis deals with the objective measurement of the maneuvers of MHD in Brno (tram, trolleybus, bus) with the XL Meter and together with the subjective evaluation of the standing and sitting figurant, determines the limit values of longitudinal and transverse acceleration for comfortable ride and dangerous ride, which can lead to accidents to passengers.
