Biotranformation of fenbendazole in soya (Glycine max)
Martínková, Lenka ; Raisová Stuchlíková, Lucie (advisor) ; Matoušková, Petra (referee)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Lenka Martínková Supervisor: RNDr. Lucie Raisová Stuchlíková, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Biotransformation of fenbedazole in soya (Glycine max) Veterinary drugs are used in large amounts in modern husbandry for treatment and prevention of diseases in animals. Anthelmintics administered to animals enter into environment primarily through its excretion in faeces or urine. Following excretion, drugs may persist in the environment and impact non-target organisms. Plants are able to uptake xenobiotics, including drugs, and detoxify them via biotransformation. However, only drug biotransformation into non-toxic and stable metabolites and their consequent accumulation in plants represent drug detoxification. For that reasons, knowledge of biotransformation pathways of drug in plants is very important. Soybean plants, eventually seeds, are further used in agriculture as feed for cattle and absorbed anthelmintics including their metabolites can enter the food chain. The results showed that fenbendazole entered plant and enzymatic systems of plant were able to biotransform fenbendazole via several reactions. We found differences in the metabolites between the roots, leaves, seeds and pods of soybean.
Components of soybean (\kur{Glycine max} (L.) Merr.) seeds and their effects on human health
LESÁKOVÁ, Klára
Farmers in CR started to grow soybean plants in late nineties. Since that days sowing area of soybean got much larger. There are many ways how to prepare soybean seeds for human consumption. It is a source of valuable proteins. It is also contained of a lot of biological active compounds. Those compounds have positive impact on human health. Effects of phytohormones - isoflavones are the most explored. Consumption of isoflavones decrease presence of cancer and other diseases in population
Evaluation of functional properties of selected vegetable flours
VÍTKOVÁ, Věra
This bachelor thesis deals with basic structure, nutritional properties, production and use of flours. There are information about cereals and legumes, which are used for productions of flours. This thesis talks about food intolerances, which can be a reason why change basic flours of wheat, barley, oat and rye to another. Practical part is about 14 flours, which were tested on dry matter, humidity, nitrogen substances content, proteins, protein electrophoretic profiles (patterns), solubility, water and fat holding capacity, formation of gels and changes of colours during a boiling. The results of this research are information about nutrition and functional properties of tested flours.
Soja and its use
TVRZICKÁ, Nela
The diploma thesis presents the results of studies on the awareness of women aged 18 to 30 years about soya. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of soya, describes its varieties, cultivation and its composition. There is also described the ways we can use soy and here you will find a list of food soya products and their descriptions. In the last chapter of the theoretical part is defined, what is the effect of soya on human health. The practical part evaluates poll thematized awareness of the soybean and its use. It identifies the general knowledge about the abundance of legumes and its representation in the diet of female respondents. Alternatively, in what form . The analysis is based on quantitative research, which was conducted through an anonymous questionnaire. Most often like interviews. Obtained data are processed in graphical and tabular form.
The possibility of stress control in soya
Štranc, P. ; Hradecká, D. ; Štranc, J. ; Bečka, D. ; Erhartová, D. ; Štranc, D. ; Kohout, Ladislav
Paper considers the impact of exogenous applique of brassinosteroids of soya in dry region of land register Bohemia central. The possibility of the movement of assimilates from the source to sink are discussed as the improvement of stage of plants after the treatment.
