Taring advantages of drama therapy in individuals

The first part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the mental retardation, determination, classification and etiology. It is emphasising importance of the education of the child with light mental disability, which is possible to be used in form of the therapeutic-formative intervention. The second part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the area of drama therapy that describes the therapeutic-formative approach. It refers to possibilities of application of the drama therapeutic techniques and exercises in area of treatment of the children with mild mental disablement. The third part of the bachelor's thesis focuses on the proposal of the drama therapeutic programme, which main contribution is development of the verbal and nonverbal communication abilities. There is a presentation of ten lessons of the drama therapy programme with focus on the prevention of problems in the communication.
Teacher's Efforts at Social Education and Social Work during Czechoslovakia's First Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the system of education during the period of the First Republic in Czechoslovakia. It focuses on teachers at experimental schools who specialized in social training and education with regards to social work orientated to children and the families they come from. Numerous activities of the teachers in question are described and then evaluated. In the first part of the thesis the author analyzes the teachers'approach to social training and social work in general. Firstly, the work includes a description of the economic situation and the social status of families with children during the First Republic; secondly, it deals with the state social policies regarding poor families and their children. It presents both the facts on the standard of living found in the research surveys and the origins of the educational initiatives of the Czech teachers of that time. It also takes into account the intellectual sources that could influence them and direct them more to the social aspects of the educational process. In the second part of the thesis the author presents the individual personalities of the teachers and their initiatives in social work such as: Božena Hrejsová, František Bakule, Eduard Štorch, and the teachers of Kladenská volná škola práce (Kladno Liberal School of Work), and...
The life and work of Marie Krakešová

My thesis deals with life and work of Marie Krakesova and her influence on Czechoslovakian social work. The first chapter describes basic facts about history of social work and social education, the second chapter talks about personal life of Marie Krakesova concretly studies, her husband Dr Josef Krakes, her family life and the beginnings of professionalisation of social work in the context of time. The third chapter is about significant personalities and theories which inspired Krakesova's work. The fourth chapter deals with specific publications, unique Czechoslovakian theories and methods which Krakesova invented and started to work with them in real life. At the end of my thesis I describe in short how her work interfere in current social work
