The role of social andragogy in the prevention of risky behavior

This diploma thesis deals with the role of social andragogy in the prevention and possible solution of risky behavior with focus on risky addictive behavior. The thesis provides the reader with a compact insight into issue of addictive behavior, its development, complications, consequences and solutions. The aim of the work is to define the dangerousness and harmfulness of addictive substances, their devastating impact on the health and social status of an individual with an emphasis on the role of social andragogy. The theoretical part of the work introduces the problem of addiction as a whole, presents individual addictive substances available in the Czech Republic, divides them into individual categories, and introduces the reader to the history of the use of addictive substances. In the context of social andragogy, they will learn about the processes of socialization and resocialization, integration and reinteration, which play an important role in the prevention and solution of addictive behavior. Andragogic intervention is one of the very high-quality means that help people with signs of addictive behavior to return to the normal social environment. Undesirable Housing: So called 'non supplement zones' as a public policy problem

This thesis is a case study with a goal to comprehensively map and depict the evolution of the so- called non-supplement zones. This name is an abbreviated term that is used in media for the general provision authorizing establishing of areas of higher incidence of socially undesirable phenomena, where housing supplements are not to be payed to any new applicants. Bohemian and Moravian municipalities can make use of this measure since 2017. Thus they aim to fight the poverty industry and the problems connected with it. Additionally, a Constitutional Court decision on the appeal on this measure made by a group of senators is awaited since 2017. In this thesis, the problematique is viewed both on policy and politics level, both on national and local level, using the theory of the policy process, agenda setting, and the multiple streams theory. Under examination are also the levels of discourses and framing of the problem. To demonstrate a local context, there was chosen the case of the Kladno municipality, which holds a specific position in the context since it is the first city in the Czech Republic that decided to declare this general provision on its entire territory. Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents

The thesis called "Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents" deals with comparison of changes through longitudinal study in chosen indicators of value orientation and actual life attitudes of adolescents, who are situated in educational institution and being at the same time students of high school preparing themselves for future career. The results are compared with the survey, which was carried out between the years 2009 - 2010. The arrangement of gained data has a character of comparative study, which evaluates an occurrence of certain aspects in respondents' hierarchy of values and maps their shift in a certain period of time. The theoretical part is concerned with attitudes and value orientation, their elements and formations; furthermore it structures a phenomenon of adolescence in general, which is compared in selected indicators with specifically selected groups, which are the subject of the survey. For a better insight into the problematic, the conclusion of the theoretical part specifies an environment of an institutional education and its basic characteristics.
