KORTÁNOVÁ, Nikola
Bachelor thesis deals with social counseling for people with Parkinson's disease in the South Bohemian Region and the main goal is to find out and describe whether and how people with Parkinson's disease use professional social counseling. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part I deal with the definition of illness, history, current classification, anatomy and philology of the disease, diagnosis, symptoms and treatment. I also deal with social counseling, specifics of counseling for persons with Parkinson's disease, forms of professional social counseling and in the last part of the theoretical part I deal with social services and social benefits for people with this diagnosis. This is the general theoretical framework of the subject, which is the basis for the following practical part. In accordance with the main aim of the bachelor's thesis, two main research questions were selected in the practical part, for which five sub-research questions were defined. HVO1: What are the experiences of people with Parkinson's disease with professional social counseling in the South Bohemian Region? Three sub-research questions have been identified for this main research question. DVO1: What forms of professional social counseling are used by people with Parkinson's disease? DVO2: What kind of questions do people with Parkinson's address to social workers? DVO3: What are the experiences of people with Parkinson's disease with information on providing social services, social benefits and social counseling? HVO2: What are the experiences of people with Parkinson's disease with medical counseling in the South Bohemian Region? Two sub-research questions have been identified for this main research question. DVO4: What forms of medical advice are used by people with Parkinson's disease? DVO5: What kind of questions does a person with Parkinson's have to do with a doctor? With regard to the aim of the thesis, qualitative research has been chosen, which is beneficial for a deeper examination of the given issue. A method of polling with a semi-structured interview technique was established. The results obtained were elaborated into nine categories and were displayed through the so-called "map maps" digits, which make the KP responses organized in a clear way and show mutual relationships and contexts. The research group consists of seven communication partners, hereinafter referred to as KP, who were selected by deliberate selection. The criterion was the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, membership of Parkinson's Club in České Budějovice at least 6 months, age 55+ and consent to interview. Research results have shown that all KPs do not use professional social counseling for various reasons. One of the main reasons is the lack of information in this area on the possibilities of counseling. Another reason is the absence of a specialized center in the South Bohemian region for these people. The benefit of this bachelor work is the finding that persons with Parkinson's disease are under-informed on social services, social benefits and social counseling itself, and this finding can help in the form of a lecture in the framework of the Parkinson's Club in České Budějovice or in the form of leaflets for these people about the possibilities of social Services, social benefits and social counseling for these persons.

Vondráčková, Alice ; Lejsal, Matěj (advisor) ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (referee)
The theme of my thesis is Assistance in financial management and use of financial counselling services at the asylum houses for mothers with children. The aim of this study is to determine whether it is possible to help mothers at asylum houses with financial management. Financial literacy and the skill to manage their money of these users is very low and it is later on transmitted to their children. Social workers at asylum houses try to help and to encourage their clients in various areas of their lives. Money is not the area every client allows you to intervene in. In my work I consider the views of particular participants on issues of financial management and through using various tools to cooperate with users to improve their financial management skills and at the end of my work I review how the cooperation worked out and succeeded.
