Environment of Family-tree in primary school mathematics

The Rodokmen (Family tree) environment is one of the many envirnments listed in Fraus publishing house textbooks based on the RVP pro ZV (The Framework Educatinal Programme for Basic Education). The environment offers a tool for building of the mathematical schema of terms and their inter-realations as well as the development of the logical thought. In the theorethicl part of this Diploma thesis the relationship of the Rodokmen environment to the RVP pro ZV is being explained, basic mathematical and geneaologic terminology is stated. In this part of the thesis I also explain the relations in the set cocncept, clasify the family relationships and adress the methodology of the age example solving. In the practical part of the thesis I - by the way of experiment - determine how and in what context students understand the stated mathematical terms, the way they apply the understanding in order to solv the relation and age exams or problems, where the numeric operations take place.

The key research subject covers different procedures of selected workers in a case of an allegation. Based on the initial interviews a question came up if the institutions use inner guidelines to deal with possible situations of clients manipulating workers. The next subject were the workers' opinions of the issues and of the allegation charges and sentences. The theoretical scope of the thesis contains relevant information about divorce, parental conflict, manipulation, ways of solving such problems, consequences, parental alienation syndrome and information about allegation in both Czech and foreign researching. The research method that I used was the Interpretative phenomenological analysis and the data was collected using semi-structured interviews. Open and Selective coding were used to evaluate the data. Social work with homeless people serving a custodial sentence

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to introduce the reader to the work of a social worker with homeless people serving prison sentences during all the phases of their sentence. It defines the specifics of social work in prisons and describes the various types of situation that most convicts experience and the ways in which these situations may be resolved. The work also covers the definition of the roles of prison social worker, social curator and social worker for a non-profit organization, and effective ways in which they can work together. Several independent studies have found that social work has a significant impact on reducing recidivism and crime in general, since it serves as an effective tool not only when working with people in prison, but also as a tool to prevent crime. In my case studies, therefore, I show how to do the kind of social work that we already know is reducing recidivism. The benefit of my work lies in a deeper understanding of the mechanisms behind the quantitative results of social work. Keywords Social work, recidivism, offender, sentence, prison, homeless person

Spojité reprezentace vět v neuronovém strojovém překladu

Recent advances in natural language processing using neural networks have given rise to numerous methods of obtaining continuous-space vector representations of textual data that can be exploited for various applications. One of these methods is to use internal representations learned by neural machine translation (NMT) models. However, the attention mechanism in modern NMT systems removes the single point in the neural network from which the source sentence representation can be extracted. In this thesis, we propose and empirically evaluate novel ways to remove this limitation. We review existing methods of obtaining sentence representations and evaluating them, and present novel intrinsic evaluation metrics. Next, we describe our modifications to attention-based NMT architectures that allow extracting sentence representations. In the experimental section, we analyze these representations and evaluate them using a wide range of metrics with a focus on meaning representation. The results suggest that the better the translation quality, the worse the performance on these tasks. We also observe no performance gains from using multi-task training to control the representations.

In this bachelor thesis, I would like to distinguish the meaning of french adjectives. Some french adjectives change the meaning in a sentence regarding where they stand. It might be in front of the noun or behind it. I would also like to compare french and czech adjectives in terms of a meaning in a sentence. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe the difference of some adjectives´ meaning in french. The second part will consist of working with czech corpus and searching adjectives to compare their position in the sentence.

Subordinate implicite clauses in Italian in comparison with French

The first aim of this work is to describe the subordinate implicit clauses in Italian and in French and to compare the structures of these clauses in both languages. The second aim is to examine the use of the subordinate clauses formed with gerund in Italian and in French in a corpus of journalistic texts. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. At the beginning, the theoretical part includes an explanation of some notions and a short description of the morphology and syntax of the non-finite verb forms in Italian and in French. A larger part of the work is then dedicated to the description of the subordinate implicit clauses in Italian and in French. The practical part contains an analysis of the subordinate gerund clauses in both languages. The corpus analysis is conducted using the corpus InterCorp and its aim is to examine the frequency, the semantics and the function of gerund in Italian and in French in journalistic texts.
