Software for seeking vulnerable computers in network
Krkoš, Radko ; Pelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polívka, Michal (advisor)
This thesis concerns about computer system and network infrastructure security. It describes the topic of security holes and vulnerabilities and discusses possibilities for computer attack defense. Common security holes and client and server systems configuration errors are described. There are stated simple rules and advices for configuring network environment according to security and minimalization of failure or violation risk due to security holes and vulnerabilities. Thesis adresses approaches of security hole detection in programs and devices entrusted to administrator, device and security holes inventory control and prevention possibilities. Thesis describes how to execute self security audit and how to process its results. It suggests techniques and methods to administer network, server, or intranet during its lifespan according to security. It also analyses existing available software and evaluates its features and resources with regard to security topic. Software is chosen to simplify work for administrator in some or more parts of security management like network condition analysis, error and vulnerability detection in computer systems, network infrastructure, web applications or applications for network alternation detection. Thesis recommends requirements for security audit application and discusses eligible features in regard of functionality and added value. Created set of scripts simplifies administrator's work by automating common and time consuming tasks and delivers information in compact and simple form, what makes the work more comfortable and shortens the reaction time to crises such as discovery of new security hole or security breach.
Laser vibrometer with 2D scanning system
Rajm, Martin ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals in the theoretical part with the non-contact vibration measurement by single point Laser Doppler vibrometer and it concretes constructions used in practice. It deals also with the possibilities of the laser beam scanning to measure the vibrations in the plane and there are also listed suitable-commercial systems for this solution. Mentioned sweep is immediately necessary for 2D scanning vibrometer construction. In the practical part, the single-point laser vibrometer OFV-5000 was expanded by scanning galvo system, supplemented by a measuring cards for signal acquisition from the vibrometer and suitable control hardware was chosen for mentioned laser. For the resulting hardware assembly was designed and implemented in LabVIEW measurement software, to control the 2D scanning system, to set the position of the laser beam and to process and to visualize of measured vibration signals in the plane. The functionality of the developed measuring system was checked by performed measurement and visualization of the velocity vibration of restraint girder, excited by shaker.
Temperature scanning with Web site presentation
Svoboda, Vít ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Kacálek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis solves design and realisation of device for temperature value scanning. First chapter introduces reader into basic principles of transmitting data over inetrnet. Next, the conception of whole designed system is described. Third chapter treats about suitable types of hardware to complete the system. Fourth and fifth chapter describes coherent vision of software realisation for values scanning and their storing into database. Last part attends to implement the dynamic web pages.
3D scanning methods
Čermák, Jan ; Matyáš, Pavel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
In the first part of this thesis there is a task of taxonomy of the 3D scanners. It explains some principles of the 3D scanners functioning. Then in the second part there are described two particular technologies of the 3D scanning in the more complex way. In the chapters of both of these methods there is described procedure of scanning and compared several commercially available sensors. In the end there is comparison of these two methods.
Environment mapping
Mohorko, Martin ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the description of possible ways of mapping the unknown environment, which could be in this case both environments - aerial and terrestrial. It is focused on mapping by radars and 3D scanners, through their history, distribution, scanning methods, methods of displaying data or description of output data to their practical application. Furthermore based on selected criteria, methods were compared and it was explained why and which method is preferable than the other one. There is also in this work mention of other methods used for environment mapping of today and their use and potential for several future applications. In the conclusion was outlined the possible use concept on the radar locating system in connection with the 3D scanner.
Scanning Tunneling Microscopy STM
Michele, Ondřej ; Škoda, David (referee) ; Průša, Stanislav (advisor)
The work deals with STM microscopy. The commercial Nanosurf easyScan2 STM microscope was activated and methodology of STM tip preparation by PtIr wire cutting and W wire etching was established.
Vulnerability assesment tools
Charvát, Michal ; Veber, Jaromír (advisor) ; Klíma, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on a specific area of information systems security, which is called vulnerability assesment. Vulnerability assesment is executed with special tools called vulnerability scanners. In the the beginning of the first part I will introdukce the area of information systems security and its breaf history, the basic terms of vulnerability assesment and related topics, such as penetration testing. In the following part few test will be executed using some of the chosen available and free tools and then analyze its results. The main criteria will be the number and criticality of the given vulnerabilities. Finally the user-friedly aspect of each tool will be evalueted, which could be a little subjective matter.
Biometric systems
Lisý, David ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Čermák, Igor (referee)
This bachelor work is about biometrics and it´s application in practice. Theoretical part describes the main principles of biometrics and all of the common technologies and methods. Practical part consists of analysis and assessment of applying biometrics in Czech radio building in Prague. Practical part covers even description and comparison of potentially suitable products. That comes with choice of the best one, as a conclusion of practical part. The main goal of this work is to provide general and basic knowledge about biometrics including demonstration of analysis it´s application in practice.
The possible direction of the spatial division of small buildings
BÍSKOVÁ, Jaroslava
The aim of the thesis is to describe and evaluate the use and accuracy of the individual geodetic methods and their development focus for the spatial division of small structures, such as monuments, fountains, statues and other objects. Describes the aforementioned methods and necessary equipment for geodetic measurements from eklimetru at table methods to modern laser scanners. Are described in detail methods of photogrammetry and laser scanning. In the laser scanning is very interesting its rapid development. We already have the possibility to use very advanced technology, so we can obtain three-dimensional images useful mainly for documentation of monuments and other buildings.
Data capture from structured documents
Žižka, Ondřej ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Marešová, Zdena (referee)
The Bachelor thesis is focused primarily on digitalization of structured documents. It describes the process of digitalization and all of its phases. It answers the question why imaging and scanning, what is the best way of doing it and what resources are necessary. Types of scanned documents and the extent of their structuring is also being defined. Most attention is paid to structured documents and their attributes, functions, frequent deficiencies, their optimization and development. Individual parts of such a document as well as their options and recommended settings are described. In the second part of this thesis there is a specific example of a contract with the aim to develop an easily processable document and then perform a data capture. This contract was specified by the company České Energetické Centrum Jih s.r.o.. In this section an appropriate configuration is being showed on particular elements.
