Application of online reputation management for accommodation facilities

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the use of social media and use of online reputation management tools by accommodation facilities. Information was obtained from survey among four and five star hotels situated in Prague. Moreover there is an analysis of online reputation management tools which are currently available on the market. After detailed analysis certain conclusions and recommendations are proposed to hotels to help them with effective communication on social media as well as with effective management of online reputation which is nowadays very important for potential guests who search for their accommodation online.
Quality of hotel services and the analyse of the chosen hotel

The diploma thesis deals with quality of services in hotel industry and with the quality analyse in a five-star hotel in Prague. This analyse should provide data for the management of the hotel and should formulate how to improve the quality of current services a thus the guest satisfaction. The theoretical part deals with quality of services as an important part of management of accommodation facilities and also with the specifics of the hotel industry. The five-star hotel Praha was analysed. The pieces of information about the guest satisfaction which were provided by hotel questionnaire were used for this purpose. The reviews of the websites Tripadvisor.com, Booking.com and Expedia.com served as a next tool for this analyse. The measures which should contribute to the higher satisfaction with offered services were worked out on the basis of the data. The diploma thesis deals together with the questionnaire which serves as a source of information and tries to formulate the questions in order to maximize the benefit of the pieces of information.
Postavenie a význam recenzných systémov v rámci e-Turizmu

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the use and impact of review sites on e-tourism. In the first chapter the term e-tourism is explained by illustrating the use of information and communication technologies in tourism. Then there are depicted its latest trends with the emphases on web and mobile technologies and applications. The second chapter deals with recent phenomenon of social media and their possibilities of usage in the tourism industry. The review sites are a part of social media and they are characterized in detail in the third chapter. This chapter is devoted to their possibility of use, advantages and disadvantages for the travellers and for the service providers in the tourism industry as well. The final conclusion and summary of the use of review sites in e-tourism based on the results of the questionnaire was drawn. Besides its position in e-tourism their future trends were deduced as well.
