Urban study of development area city - Brno

This diploma thesis deals with urban study of development area Brno-South. The design results in creation of the new urban district with 1800 - 2100 new residents. New jobs are created in proposed industrial areas, office buildings and public facilities. Result of the thesis was to show one possible way of development of this area.
The compact city - rehabilitation of the urban area surrounding the historic center of Brno

The dissertation focuses on rehabilitaion of urban space close to historic center of Brno city. One third of the area is taken by brownfields. These final goals were set: finding a new function for unused places, making a use of potential of Svitava canal and spaces in front of old buldings and creation of new urban spaces . Intervention includes creation of riverside designed for pedestrians, bike path construction, connecting area to city’s transportation system, bulding a new railway station and housing blocks with active street level and ability to walk througH area with as little obstacles as possible. Extra emphasis was placed on compactness of development, polyfunctionality and hierarchy of transpotration that respects man, his everyday life and needs. Concept reflects urban designing trends in 21st century.
Urban study of development area Vítkovice - Moravská Ostrava

This thesis deals with development of location which lies in close distance of historical center of Moravská Ostrava. Area of interest lies on south end of city part Moravská Ostrava a Přívoz. It is defined by streets K Trojhalí, Místecká, railways no. 321 nd 323 and by Ostravice river. The main aim was to design new part of city and create a strategy of its development which reacts to the actual trends of city development. It is also crutial for creating a „bridge“ between two cultural and educational centers of the city – between historical part of Moravská Ostrava and currently forming new center in listed technical area Dolní oblast Vítkovice.
Residential Complex Olšany

The locality is placed in Olšany (near Vyškov). The locality is placed in the marginal part of the village. The concept of the urban area is based on the creation of three sections - private villa section, private chalets section and semi public relaxation section. The territory is built with a family house designed for the complex keeper, villas, luxury chalets, a community house and a basketball and tennis court. The villas are presented in six types and chalets in one type. Parking is provided directly on the private land or in a car park near the community building. All buildings in the area are single-storey with the exception of the family house of the complex keeper and all the chalets.
Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

The project deals with the design of the residential complex in the city of Brno-Komín. With this draft I am creating a completely new element in a existing area of city Komín. My goal was to create a distinctive and compact unit within an adequate scale, which will signify a consistent quality independent of any future changes in the area of the entire land. The organic structure of the aatrial family houses are respecting the topography of terrain and in three clusters, creates a space for pedestrians. The land is serviced with traffic from the north where a common garages and parking lots can be found. Parking spaces outside the houses brings many qualities. People better perceive the environment which they live in. Semi-private space "courtyards" where entrances are oriented to individual houses, evokes a sense of security and has the potential for meeting and leisure with all the inhabitants of the residential complex. By using the concept of an aatrial houses, on the contrary, I rather tried to obtain a maximum feeling of privacy, therefore, the strict separation of public space, the area of semi-private space and private space was necessary.
Evaluation of a Construction in Terms of its Redevelopment into Non-residential Premises

The thesis deals with valuation of real property before and after change the purpose of use. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical inputs are defined areas related to real estate assessment. Cases study is dealt in the practical part. Case study is focused on real estate assessment and deals with determination of the impact on price of real property when will be changed the purpose of use. Also construction works related with change the purpose of use from residential unit to area intended to business. Construction works were calculated by budgeting programme. In the end is analysed price of real property before the purpose of use and after the purpose of use and evaluation of this price.
Residential complex Brno Holasky, V Aleji locality

This thesis deals with design of new development of village Holásky. Area in question is located in a south part of city Brno. It is situated in the city part Brno - Tuřany in cadastral area Holásky. The goal was to create interesting usage of undeveloped locations. The main thrust is to create new residential area, which would emphasize location on an edge of Brno as ideal place of living and recreation.
Sloup - Residential Zone Design

Bachelor thesis focuses on north part of Sloup village, the main target is to design residential area. Site plan and site plan of road signs were designed for each of four variants. The crosssections fit to all variants which were designed. Two variants were chosen as the best ones, based on multicriteria evaluation. The more detailed site plan, longitudinal profile were processed for the two best variants.
Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

The main purpose was to find an ideal solution for the given area in Brno-Komín on the street Pastviny and to design a residential complex here. The surrounding of the parcel offers us a fairly good functional amenitie and good accessibility. The actual parcel has a descent from the eastern part of the territory, where it is an undeveloped territory with forests.There is a dense developement with residential use on the west side already. Urban design is mainly based on the idea of natural human movement and perception of space. A person likes certain order, but does not perceive the strict geometry and so we can afford to break the rowhouse and adhere to detached objects. Even though the space can be perceived as a street. Another purpose was to preserve the most natural descent of the terrain. The space is designed with three types of buildings: family house, three-storey block of flats with terraces and a four-storey apartment building. The weights building design is based on the module 6x6x3 m. This block has been gradually multiplied on every construction site and creates a natural substance migration.
Fire-fighting equipment for an efficient action of fire-fighting units in the neighbourhood Maj in Strakonice.

The thesis analyses the current situation at the residential area Máj. It describes problems and defects preventing successful and early firefighting intervention, it tries to find a solution for an improvement of fire safety in buildings and suggests innovative precautions for complete revitalization of the residential area in terms of the fire protection. The aim of the work is to outline conditions of high quality that would allow the efficient intervention of fire protection units at the residential area Máj. When elaborating this work I considered the data obtained from the area planning documents, project documentation, legal regulations and technical directives concerning the fire safety area, the alarm plan of the region, my own investigation and the survey performed by using the questionnaire method in the residents of the residential area Máj in Strakonice. As a result of the findings I suggest in the thesis solutions, improving current conditions of firefighting intervention when implemented, and so enhancing the efficiency of the performance.
