Analysis of currrent implementation of programmes OPPI and reflexion of their regional differenciation with special aspect on programme Development

Bachelor thesis "Analysis of currrent implementation of programmes OPPI and reflexion of their regional differenciation with special aspect on programme Development" is focused on theoretical concept of business support and relationship between regional development and competitiveness. Analytical part contains an assessment of current implementation of programmes in Operational Programme Enterprise and Inovation in programming period 2007-2013. Regions of the Czech Republic are compared from three aspects (the number of submitted project applications, the number of implemented projects and the volume of funds in implemented projects). Based on the analytical part there are suggested possible reasons of regional differentiation in the current implementation of the programmes OPPI.
Evaluation interaction of firms and region - case study of Slovácké strojírny, a. s., Linea Nivnice, a. s. and Česká zbrojovka, a. s.

This thesis is focused on the definition of localization positives and negatives of selected companies in the region in two ways -- in relation "companies affect the region" and in relation "region affect companies". Thesis is in its practice part focused on companies Linea Nivnice, a. s., Slovácké strojírny. a. s. and Česká zbrojovka, a. s. In thesis are defined possible positives and negatives across sectors and types of regions. These positives and negatives are divided into groups of "economic," social "and" environmental "aspects. Thesis contains a complex description of selected companies and the region.
The Importance of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises for Regional Developement

The thesis concerns small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech republic. The thesisi is determined by the general definition of entrepreneur, small and medium-sized enterprises, business environment, related laws and sources of funding. General definitions were applied in the case study on the specific region -- microregion of Podralsko. Public administration support of small and medium-sized enterprises occurs either in direct or indirect form, the sources of fundings may be drawn from the state budget, from the local-authorities budget and from european sources. The role od public administration and other institutions in small and medium-sized enterprises support affects small and medium-sized enterprises on natinal, regional and local level of microregions and municipalities.
Regional diferention of transport infrastructure in the Czech Republic

A graduation thesis is focused on transport infrastructure in Czech Republic and its regional impacts. Transport infrastructure influences economy in many ways, because transport costs are part of total cost of every good or service. The aim of this thesis is to find out, which impacts on regional development are caused by transport infrastructure and transport infrastructure investment. The thesis is dividend in three parts. The first part describes the main impacts of transport infrastructure on economy and regional development. The second part analyzes transport infrastructure in Czech Republic. The third part is focused on relationship between transport infrastructure and regional economy. Transport investment efficiency in previous last years will be assessed. The results will be resumed in the end of graduation thesis.
Strategic Development of the village Nová Ves u Českých Budějovic

This thesis deals with strategic development of the village called Nová Ves u Českých Budějovic. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the most important aspects of regional and municipal development, and then characterizes the process of strategic planning and provides guidance on the preparation of the strategic plan for municipal development. The practical is focused on complete socio-economic analysis and SWOT analysis of the village Nová Ves. Based on this analysis, then identifies the key development opportunities and barriers and suggested the basic development activities.
Economics of utilization and functioning of historical monument in light of regional developement on the example of Cesky Krumlov region

A thesis is concerned with the functioning of the State Castle and Chateau of Cesky Krumlov and with the impact of the UNESCO monument on the krumlov's tourist destination and region. A theoretical part is focused on area of the legal regulations of monument preservation and on possibilities of the financing of historical monuments in the Czech republic, as well as on economic contexts of the historical areas and on the theory of regional development and tourist trade. An applicative part focuses on the rich history of krumlov's region, as well as on the building and historical development of the town Český Krumlov. The basic part is dedicated to the economic analyze of functioning of the castle and to the effectiveness of functioning of krumlov's tourist destination. Krumlov should be apprehended in the wider regional context therefore is final part dedicated to the analyze of potential regional tourist corridors. The aim of this thesis is to make analyze of functioning of the State Castle and Chateau Český Krumlov in light of effectiveness and operating potential into the future and demonstrate basis functional absences and unimproved developing potentiality of krumlov's tourist destination in the wider context of regional development.
Social and Economic Development in Dobrichovice City

Social and economic development of Dobrichovice city is the theme that I chose for my bachelors thesis. Dobrichovice pass through a lot of changes during last years. New inhabitatants, especially from Prague, are immigrating into the city. There is a lot of new developer projects realizing here due to this trend. I will evaluate the pros and the cons of this facts and analyse also the projects planned for the future. I will deal with the questions concerning living and I will focuse on following documents: Local plan and Regulative plan of Dobrichovice city. Dobrichovice is situated in very atractiv turistic area. This is the reason why the part of the thesis attend to the tourism in the region. As Dobrichovice belongs to the microregion called " Dolni Berounka", I will analyse the actual relations among the cities and villages in this microregion and I will try to find the ways how to improve their cooperation and how to bring more tourists. I evaluate a sufficiency of the turistic infrastructure (transport, accomodation, restaurants, camps etc.) and try to find if it corresponds with the demand. I will use a questionnaire for evaluation of current situation and in the end of my thesis I will suggest steps for the improvement.
Choices of economization and undtraditional utilization of cultural heritage in relation to socialeconomical development of town. (Case study of The Monastery of st. Voršila in Kutná Hora)

The aim of the following bachelor thesis is to point out possibilities of untraditional use of cultural, especially church, immovable relicts and to refer to benefits implicit in this use for socioeconomical development of municipality, where the object take place. This bachelor thesis is concerned with traditional as well as untraditional possibilities how to use church objects after 1989 both generally and concretely at the example of one of the object included in UNESCO -- The Monastery of St. Voršila in Kutná Hora. The thesis describes traditional importance of this church for turist trade in Kutná Hora and neighbourhood, it observes utilization of this historical landmark qua place of catholic grammar school and its profitability for Kutná Hora. It allows for historically older function of the monastery as one of the site of nuns of St. Voršila's community and also its spiritual function. Next, the thesis is concerned with untraditional economical function of the monastery, especially its commercial use for private entrepreneurial subjects. Last but not least, the thesis proposes to apply choices of use of this monastery on the other immovable cultural relicts in Kutná Hora.
Project for development of a multiple purpose centre and evaluation of the options for project funding

The essay deals with the options for community project funding. Its initial section identifies the most important differences between regions and principles of the regional development strategy in the Czech Republic. It also characterizes specific problems of the Ústí Region, especially the Litoměřice region, which is one of the regions enjoying the concentrated government support. The essay also characterizes the "prominent municipality of the region" and outlines a project to resolve the issues partly as well as individual activities, risky activities, a time schedule and a project budget. The following section is devoted to the analysis of selected options for municipal project funding, i.e. funding from own municipal resources, credit or subsidy funding. Final chapter of the essay suggests the most suitable method for funding of the outlined project.
Potential opportunities for development of Eastern Slovakia

In my thesis I am trying to characterise region of Eastern Slovakia, concretly two regions: Košický and Prešovský region. First part of thesis includes general characteristics of regions, their submission to regional structure, regional differences and common signs, comparison with Western Slovakia. The next part includes short history of Slovakia, mainly Eastern Slovakia before and after origin. Methodology of my thesis is a regional analysis, mainly SWOT analysis. This is the main part of my thesis. I concentrate on Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats in each region separately. Also characterise chosen operational programs and possibilities of subvention. In conclusion my thesis there are suggestions and recommendations for regional development of the region Eastern Slovakia.
