Applying of the Neuromarketing in Customer Behaviour Analysis
Doležel, Libor ; MBA, Michael Hanzelka, (referee) ; Chalupský, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze attitudes of costumers towards brands with method of measuring reaction times, respectively with the implicit association test, which is a tool of the neuromarketing. Individual methods and technics used in neuromarketing are divided in the theoretical part, along with its ethical issue and there is also a peek at brand. The analysis part is focused on the analysis of obtained data from respondents. In the recommendation part we focus on possible change of customers’ attitudes towards brands.
Numerosity in college students of math; event-related potential
VESELÝ, Denis
This bachelor thesis deal with design proposal of description of speed-accuracy tradeoff (SAT) influence, on approximal arithmetic tasks; at college math students. We focuses on description of neural correlates of number processing; measured through brain activity of performance at tasks mentioned above. Second interest of ours, aims for analysis of possible behavioral influence, arises in these tasks. Approximate number system (ANS) is one of theoretical neurocognitive systems, responsible for such processing. And thus, it creates basis for symbolic math understanding. As this, there is strong research interest for investigation of its functions. Nevertheless, it seems like there is just trifling number of works, which are focused on hypothetical SAT influence on collected evidence. Despite the fact, that SAT is rather important phenomenon in cognitive science. It describes individual's tendency, for trading reaction speed for reaction accuracy and vice versa. And so, this work pursue description of ANS and SAT, propose possibilities of testing both phenomena and also tries to illustrate theoretical future of researches of similar character.
Resveratrol - effects on biological age
Pokorná, Zuzana ; Klemera, Petr (advisor) ; Kuchařová, Monika (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of biophysics and physical chemistry Candidate: Zuzana Pokorná Supervisor: Doc. RNDr. Petr Klemera, CSc. Title of diploma thesis: Resveratrol - effect on the biological age Objective: Resveratrol is a natural polyphenol contained in number of plants. It is a potent antioxidant, which is known to have a number of beneficial health effects and be part of many biological processes. The compound is produced by plants to increase their survival and resistance to disease. We found the effect of Resveratrol on parameters of biological age-on the threshold of perception of the intensity of the volume (hearing) and reaction rate. Methods : A group of people used the resveratrol in a dose of 170 mg per day for 40 days. We measured by the PC program the selected parameter of hearing and reaction rate. Results : It has been shown that statistically significant improvement of hearing has occurred. The exact mechanism of the effect is not known. Probably operates through a group of enzymes, sirtuins. Reaction rate was not affected by substance. Conclusions : We have reviewed the potential effect of Resveratrol on human biological age. The improvement of hearing has been shown at the 0,01 significance level. The biggest improvement was...
Úleková reakce u osob s latentní toxoplasmosou
Příplatová, Lenka ; Flegr, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Havlíček, Jan (referee)
Possible connection between latent toxoplasmosis and schizophrenia is a very interesting and medically important topic. In this thesis I tried to map current state of knowledge in the interdisciplinary research of schizophrenia and Toxoplasma gondii and their possible connections as well as to show differences in responses between Toxoplasma-positive and Toxoplasma-negative subjects using simple computer-administered tests of prepulse inhibition of startle reaction (PPI). Such differences would suggest another similarity between schizophrenia patients and subjects with latent toxoplasmosis as the sensorimotor gating responsible for PPI was found to be disrupted in schizophrenia patients. Side goal of the study was to test newly developed PC software for testing PPI and to determine its applicability in further research. Subjects for the tests were recruited among adepts of professional military service; 409 subjects completed the test of acoustic PPI and 276 subjects completed the test of visual PPI. All the subjects were tested on presence of specific anti-Toxoplasma IgG in their blood serum. Both tests revealed significant (p<0.001) differences between responses on prepulse-preceded stimuli and plain stimuli without prepulse, no significant results were, however, gained for the effects of latent...
