Možnosti využití málo frekventovaných oblastí železniční infrastruktury

This article deals with the legislative, property and financial aspects of railway infrastructure. Many experts says that limiting the network only to its hightraffic- density sections would greatly reduce the cost of maintaining the railways. Financing the infrastructure is one of the biggest disadvantages of rail transportation in contrast to road transportation. What are the possibilities of legislative and property changes in case of less frequently used tracks, and of a possible change of the purpose of use while keeping the track? Could the regions use the new opportunities arising from a change in legislation and use these large unused areas to solve some of the problems of municipalities? Can the potential of railway infrastructure be reused? These possibilities will be explored by the research by design method and through cooperation with economic experts and students. With their help an ideological proposal will be presented to municipal representatives, relevant politicians, etc.
Public rail transport in Germany with focus on DB

This bachelor thesis is focused on public rail transport in Germany. In this thesis are described theoretical aspects of rail transport. The attention is paid to development of public rail transport since unification of Germany till now, when the main targets are increase in attractiveness of public rail transport and increase in environment protection. This thesis deals with the main provider of mobility -- Deutsche Bahn and its divisions. There exists three the most important divisions in the field of providing services public rail transport. The first one administers rail infrastructure. The second one provides services of long-distance rail transport. The third one provides services of local public transport.
Analysis of rail infrastructure in the regions

In my bachelor thesis I engage in development of rail infrastructure, influence railways on regional development and I subscribe current state and near future of rail infrastructure in Czech republic. I also characterise Plzeňský kraj and Moravskoslezský kraj and I subscribe their rail infrastructure. In the practical part of this bachelor thesis I engage in determine differences of rail infrastructure in Plzeňský kraj and Moravskoslezský kraj. I compare only numbers of railway's kilometers, but I perform a comparison of single - line railways, double -- line railways, electrified lines and corridor trails. With the aid of method of similarity and difference in regions I compare railway infrastructure with population counties and area counties too.
