Comparison of therapeutic concepts and their results at people with physical disability

This master thesis introduces the issue of individual concepts that affect the psychological and motor processes, occurring at people with physical disabilities. It addresses the definition of the basic concepts within both historical and present context. The thesis considers what kind of connection and relationships exist behind the failures of the body scheme and the human psyche, and in greater detail deals with methods that work to improve the quality of life for a person with a physical disability. The research part establishes the situation of comprehensive rehabilitation in the Czech Republic. It is developed according to the preliminary areas: lifelong learning, the status of the comprehensive rehabilitation and procedures used in caring for a person with a physical disability. Diploma thesis "Psychomotricity in swimming education of preschool children" focuses on the use of psychomotor activities when teaching preschool children swimming. The theoretical part describes in detail, all according to available sources, the terms related to psychomotricity, development and swimming of a preschool child. The practical part of thesis focuses on the fact, whether it is beneficial and appropriate to apply psychomotor activities in swimming education. Further it strives to find out how big is the psychomotor awareness of Czech swimming instructors.

Importance of Psychomotor Activities for Preschool Children

This work inquires into the benefits of psychomotoric activities for preschool children's development. The theoretical part consists of the description of preschool development period and of the psychomotor theory as well as of its practical application in this development period. The practical part is based on the suggested set of suitable activities which support physical, psychological and social development. These activities were examined in practice by means of a mixed research. Two methods were used - questioning (the questionnaire and the interview) and structured observing - and by means of them the specifics of these activities were found out and their influence on children's development was assessed.
Activation methods in teaching English with the help of psychomotor exercise in the targeted group

The work deals with the specifics and importance of teaching children foreign language at an early age through physical exercises and activities that support the learning process. The theoretical part explains the developmental characteristics of children prerequisites for language, some important principles of teaching, teacher competencies but also those that acquire the children themselves in the process of learning in connection with the Framework curriculum for preschool education. The work also includes an overview of the most common methods used in teaching a foreign language at an early age. Another part of the work is devoted to the psychomotor, importance of movement in the learning process linked with the health education . The practical part consists of a collection of psychomotor exercises divided into three main thematic areas of teaching - color, body, animals that is intended as an inspiration for teaching English to preschool children. The research includes validation results of this teaching programme using the methods of observation and video analysis of the target group.
Intervention motion program using psychomotor exercisesfor seniors

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to develop an intervention motion program for seniors using psychomotor exercises and monitor its impact on psychomotor and memory capabilities of the target group. Set of test subjects consisted of 10 seniors aged 59 to 69 years. To diagnose the impact of the intervention program were used three standardized tests of psychomotor skills and physical skills and a comprehensive memory test. The research was evaluated by comparing the results of tests at the beginning, during and at the end of the intervention program. The investigation shows that the motion of the intervention program had a positive effect on psychomotor and memory abilities of seniors and can be recommended educators to work with clients of the target group.
Check on effect interventional kinetic programme on development personalities with mental handicap in Constitution social care Slatiňany

Bachelor thesis in its theoretical level deals with the theme of mental disability in general, closely related to the motion activities. The practical part was already tested an interventional kinetic programme designed for people with this form of disability. It was applied to a group of clients of the Constitution social care, the moderate degree of mental disability, for sixteen weeks, and its effect then qualitatively evaluated according to the results of tests kinetic and social skills. Based on these indicators was confirmed by a positive effect this programme on development personalities with mental handicap as well as the possibility of its realization in terms of the Constitution social care.
Creation and check tutorial programme on base psychomotor activities for adolescents.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is creation and check tutorial programme on base psychomotor activities for adolescents. The partial aim is monitoring and evaluation of its influence on the social competences and on the social climate of the school class. The programme results from psychomotor didactics and is formed for adolescents and for implementation in the common school conditions. The programme was applied to randomly select experimental group of 21 participants from December 2008 to February 2009. Before and after its application it was held a survey of school class social climate by virtue of the questionnaire "My Class Inventory". Other relevant information of climate in the experimental group was acquired from observation and interviews. All the gained data were processed and evaluated. The results from experiment uphold its feasibility in practise and its positive influence on the indicators in view.
