Deformation Surveying of Crane Track
Příhoda, Martin ; Rinda, Jiří (referee) ; Vitula, Alexej (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of suitable methods to determine space relations of the particular crane tracks. These methods are investigated within the accuracy analysis. Test measurements using the designed methods are described and their results are analysed and compared with the applicable standards.
Factors affecting dragonfly species composition in newly created pools and assessment of invertebrate predation on pools zooplankton
Dobiáš, Jakub ; Černý, Martin (advisor) ; Harabiš, Filip (referee)
To identify and quantify the influence of physico-chemical, biotic and geographic factors on the population of dragonflies (Odonata) is an essential tool for research of their ecology. The aim of this study was to 1) assess how these factors influence species richness, diversity and spatial distribution of dragonflies in 42 newly constructed or renewed pools located in the Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area, which is characterized by two valleys of Liběchovka and Pšovka creeks, low human impact, and a great diversity of small water bodies and 2) use laboratory experiments in order to estimate the relationship between large predatory invertebrates of these pools (Aeshna cyanea, Coenagrion puella, Chaoborus crystallinus and Notonecta glauca) and their common prey (Daphnia curvirostris) in an artificial environment with or without aquatic macrophytes. The pools were monitored and sampled between years 2005 and 2006. In total, 23 dragonflies species were found inhabiting these lentic habitats, comprising 11 species belonging to the suborder Zygoptera and 12 species belonging to the suborder Anisoptera, including a rare species Sympetrum depressiusculum (larvae). Most variability in the dragonfly species richness was explained by the size of the water surface area, followed by the location of the pools (inside...

Danish prepositions. Semantic analysis
Bednářová, Marie ; Štajnerová, Petra (advisor) ; Hartlová, Dagmar (referee)
5 ABSTRACT In this thesis, we examine the possibilities of a semantic analysis of spatial configurations represented by Danish prepositions. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we explore the means that cognitive linguistics uses to describe meaning in general, and to describe spatial configuration in particular. We also briefly present the results of several analyses of English spatial expressions. In the practical part of the thesis, we then apply the cognitive linguistics' terms and methods on material gathered from Danish dictionaries and grammar handbooks and Danish Corpus, in order to achieve an analysis of spatial senses represented by the Danish preposition i. The result of our analysis is a structured overview of the preposition's distinct spatial senses, accompanied by a suggestion of the preposition's semantic network. KEY WORDS: cognitive semantics, spatial scene, schema, spatial configuration, prepositions, Danish

THEATRE PRODUCTION IN ORIGINALLY NON-THEATRICAL SPACES
Vanišová, Apolena ; MAKONJ, Karel (advisor) ; KLÍMA, Miloslav (referee)
In this essay, I focus on the issues of theatre production in an originally non-theatrical space. The work aims at describing the relation between the space and the directorial, stage design and visual component of a production, setting specific projects as examples. I map my work in an originally non-theatrical space and I describe the process of creation of individual projects of that kind. Based on the realization of many productions, theatre installations and one visual installation, I introduce possible artistic approaches and working procedures. The essence of this work lies in finding and naming the moments where the project is formed by the space and those where, in the contrary, the project affects an existing non-theatrical space. The thesis provides a summary of experience gained by working in non-theatrical spaces and suggests possible connection between artistic and production management activity. The reader is offered a number of starting points and assumptions in the matter of working in a non-theatrical space and our attention is brought to the advantages and difficulties of such work.
