Steel structure of a multi-functional building
Havíř, František ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is to design the steel construction of a multifunctional building in the cadastral area of Brno-Bohunice. Multifunctional building consists of two identical buildings - A and B. Floor plan dimensions are 40.0 x 40.0 meters and height of 33,8 meters. Both objects have the 1st floor of the overall height of 5,0 m, each additional floors 3,5 m. The plan shape of the building is a square 40 x 40 m with bevel in the corners with a length of 8 m. In the middle of the building is roofed atrium 8 x 8 m. The buildings are in the 5th floor connected with the enclosed footbridge with a length of 10.0 meters. The main structure consists of two buildings columns and girders. Columns are alternatively solved as the composite steel and concrete structures with closed section filled with concrete or concreted steel profile. The girders are made of castellated beams. Among the girders are embedded solid panel joists and girders, coupled with the composite steel and concrete slab. Spatial rigidity besides the composite slabs provide rods placed around the atrium and in the corners of the building. The main structure of the footbridge consists of two inclined arched beams on which is placed stringer of the footbridge.
Static analysis of detail of metal connection
Efenberk, Tomáš ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is structural analysis of detail of metal connection. This is a connection of the celiling and the beam. The program by Dlubal Software s. r. o. was used to create the model. The model was developed on the basis of a semester project “Multi-storey building of mass garages” from the source of the subject BO008 – Metal Structures 2. The model was developed in accordance with valid EN ISO standards. The main purpose of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the classical steel connection and to simulate as closely as possible the conditions of the load, which are connected to the metal connection.
Shape optimization of the typical frame of the load-bearing structure of the steel hall
Kuzbová, Šárka ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hokeš, Filip (advisor)
The thesis deals with the shape optimization of a typical frame of a steel hall structure. The calculation is performed for two types of parametric models created with both 1D and 2D finite element models in RFEM 6. The aim of the optimization process is to achieve a state where the structure has the lowest mass while satisfying the stress limit. The first model, which is created using 1D finite elements, focuses on optimizing the initial and final section heights of the members with the raises. The following model, which is developed using 2D finite elements, is aimed at optimizing the openings of the pierced beam. The thesis also includes analytical verification of the model using the deformation method.
Multi-storey building
Mikulica, Adam ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The purpose of the diploma thesis was to design the supporting structure of an administrative building. The building is located in Brno. The floor plan dimensions of the building are 42.0x42.0 m. The building has 8 floors. The static calculation of the load-bearing structure was developed in two variants. Variant A has a square grid and ceilings arranged in a checkerboard pattern. Variant B has a rectangular growth and the ceilings are arranged in one direction. The ceiling structures and columns of the building are designed as composite reinforced concrete. Drawing documentation is managed for the winning variant.
